Farewell For Now

It's simply time. 

Hey folks,

First, I'm fine. Thank you for your concerns. I have been trying to figure out what to say. Couldn't do it. So I'm actually just going with it. I have no idea how this will come out by here it goes.

I've been on the Internet since mid to late 90's. When I first started out, I was mostly Faith Based. I would discuss various things in various places and was never afraid of what someone may think or what they said about me or my beliefs. Well, as so often happens, life interrupted. I went through a major life change and ended up moving to here, in sunny South Florida. I came back online and picked up somewhat where I left off. However, I became more political.

I used the excuse, that, "Hey, that's what is in the news." Bush this and that. War this and that. Then I notice a trend starting among the Media and Liberals in general. I watched the Democrat Party die. I saw the "Progressive Party" being born. I saw that the New Liberalism, is nothing more than a quest for Tyranny. Their number one priority, and still is, is to destroy the America we grew up in and replace it with a utopia of Socialistic Society. I was not about to sit back and allow that to happen.

So 6 years ago, I started the OPNTalk Blog. Kept that going until an upgrade made it impossible, so I created this. The OPNTalk2 Blog. I have loved every second of it. Sharing true infotainment with all of you. I have made new friendships that I will cherish forever. A couple have passed away. Some have moved on. But some are still there. I am honored to call them friends.

However, I have also started to regain some things I lost. I have recommitted myself to my Faith. I have reentered the Word. I have rejoined the "Church" of God. The Body of Christ. I have woken up. Now I told everyone about this. When TAG was born. I said, that I would continue to do both. Truth is? I was wrong.

You see, for a while now, I'm just not into this. I'm really not. I have been warning people of what is coming, long before anyone else was. I warned you about Little Hitler. I warned you about Putin. I warned you about Obama. I have been screaming from the rooftops for the last 6 years. America itself is at stake, and the world is growing darker.

Now everyone is warning you. Everyone is telling you the same things I have been telling you. Things are happening the way they are happening. In 35 days, you will go to the Polls, and you will Vote. You will either Vote for Faith, Family, and Freedom, or you will Vote for the death of America itself. Yes, it really is that simple. What will happen, will happen.

I was thinking about this for a while. The more I spend time with my family, and the more time I spend in the Word, and with God, the more I grow in Faith. The less I grow in desire to spend time talking Politics. I was Praying about this and a question popped into my Spirit. "What is more important? Sharing the Truth according to God, sharing the Word. Explaining His Will and Way for Salvation? Leading someone to Salvation? Or, picking out the Idiot of the Week?" Then this. "The World has Rush, Sean, Mark, Glenn, Joyce, and many others." Then this passage came to mind. Luke 10:2

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

You see, people are looking at the Middle East, they are looking at Israel being surrounded by those that seek it's destruction. The see earthquakes and storms. They see wars and rumors of wars. They see our president talking about handing over American Sovereignty to the UN. They see others talking about a One World Order. They SEE the end of the world coming as depicted in the Bible.

However, today, this day, someone will die. Someone will wake up, they will have coffee. Eat. Go off to work. They will not make it. Another will dress their child, and see them off to school, and that child will never return home. Someone will not even wake up. Just because the World doesn't end today, doesn't mean that today, is the last day of life for many. Think about 9-11. 3000 Americans and others, got up, did whatever they did every other day, kissed loved ones, went to work. Shortly after they got there, they were killed.

What is more important? Talking about the Idiot of the Week, or picking out someone that has displayed Logic? Or sharing the Truth according to God. Showing them The Way. Leading them to the simplicity of Salvation. Seriously? Pretty much a no brainer. Don't ya think?

It's simply time. I will not shut down this Blog completely. Who knows, I may even pop in from time to time if I have something important to share. The Email will remain active and you can always get me there. It is for both, as always, opntalk@gmail.com. There really is a wealth of information, that is proven more and more, everyday, to be one hundred percent true. No it was not Rush Limbaugh. No. It was not Sean Hannity. No. It was actually no one on the Right. This was said by a Democrat. Rob Taub. I guess he is a Radio Tech guy or something. But I love this piece he wrote for,,what is it,,oh, Foxnews.com

Again folks, this is a Democrat and former supported of Obama. He has an interesting take on this. He goes on to say this..

In Thursday night's convention address, President Obama reprised the same promises he made in 2008, again with no feasible suggestions of how to pay for them.

The president has a wonderful vision for America, but it's nothing more than a delusion that can't be achieved during a time of record – and climbing – deficits. Our government has built roads, bridges and schools that have educated us. However, it has also become a bloated money burning machine in desperate need of reform – a word that does not seem to exist in Obama's vocabulary.

Democrats are jumping ship because President Obama is offering nothing but blame for the previous administration and his own pipe dreams at a time when voters need some real assurance if they’re going to believe the economy can be saved. Unfortunately, speaking as one of those Democrats, I have little hope that President Obama will change.

You see folks, this is not over by a long shot. The same old Obama is not going to work this time. Oh, yeah, he WILL without a doubt, get the stupid Vote. The mindless sheep that will just Vote Obama, Obama, Obama. They will Vote for him because he is Black. They will Vote for him because they have been told to hate Republicans, or Romney. They will Vote for him because Madonna told them they needed to Vote for the Black Muslim in the White House. But real, intelligent, logical, Voters, from all political affiliations will think about it and Vote for TRUE Hope and Change.

This is his foreign affairs mess. He is responsible for both the state of America, and the world. HE is. Bush has been gone for 4 years. All that is happening IS Obama. Sorry to my Obamaide drinkers out there. This is his mess.

So every time, you see a skewed poll, or the media comes on and tells you this is over? Obama wins? Think again. He is losing support all over the place. He should be. He needs to go. I do not care if you think Romney is the greatest thing ever, or you do not care for some of his policies. He is NOT Obama. He has experience, faith, and love for this country. He is also not afraid to stand up to those that want us dead. And they know that. They are pulling for Obama. 

Attack our Embassies around the world, and kill our Ambassador and nothing happens? Obama calls it a bump in the road? That is an open invitation to do whatever they want to do. They do not fear us. They do not respect us. We are a joke to them. A shell of our former self. We need to be reborn. We need to take the country back, and start repairing the damage that this past administration has caused.

You are not alone. You are not in the minority. More and more people are seeing Obama for what he is. They do not like it. Get ready, get educated on the facts. Go Vote. We need to counter the Moron Vote. If you do, we should have no problem sending a clear message, not here. Not in America. You want Socialism? Move.

Happy Tuesday to ya. Yes, you read the headline correctly. England, Energy, Tea Party. Come on Pete, the Tea Party is this small group of kooks. They are nothing more than angry white men that hate Obama. What are you talking about? {Laughing}

The truth. The Tea Party is more an idea than it is people. The people involved in the Tea Party are of all races, religions, social classes, and appears to be growing world wide. It is Conservatism. It is truth. It is reality. It is freedom.

What am I talking about? This story from the The UK Guardian - Tory 'Tea Party tendency' putting green energy jobs at risk, warns Ed Davey

So this guy, Ed Davey, is the Liberal Democrat Energy Secretary. I'm not saying Liberal Democrat. That is what they call themselves. You see, unlike our politicians, they do not hide who they are. He IS the Liberal Democrat Energy Secretary. He is all upset, that people are slowly starting to realize that man-made global warming is a scam. He is upset that people are starting to reject the whole premise. Therefore, when people see governments wasting money on failed "green energy" plans, they are getting upset.

Folks, as I read this, I though I was reading a NYT piece. Talking about us. Our government.

In an interview with the Observer, Ed Davey describes a "Tea Party tendency" among Conservative MPs who question climate change and green investment as "perverse", and says it is creating deep uncertainty for an industry that could do much to help lift the country out of the economic doldrums. Just like us, there are some across the pond, that feel "green energy" will save them. They think investing in "green energy" is wise.

Well, they say this publicly, but I wonder how much money is going to line pockets there. Just like here, there is no market. There is no one to buy this over priced failure.

Just like our country, he wants more government money going to this garbage. In a time when their economy is hurting as well.

Davey says, however, that there are huge opportunities for the British economy from investment in low-carbon energy infrastructure projects, including wind and solar energy, carbon capture storage and new nuclear power, all of which make up a large part of projected spending of £118bn in the sector over the next decade. Last year alone £12.7bn was invested in this country by the renewable energy industry, creating 20,000 jobs. 

Doesn't this sound so familiar? £12.7bn equals about 20 BILLION dollars. 20,000 jobs? Are they still there? Are they actually producing anything and showing profit? Doesn't say.

Davey says he fears these opportunities will be lost if the pre-election consensus on climate change and green policies continues to be questioned. "If there is not seen to be that consensus investors are going to balk. When you hear all that noise on the right of politics that worries investors. They think, 'Well if I am going to put all this money in – it is a 30-year investment – I need to know that if the government changes we are not going to have some rightwing Tea Party tendency taking over.' "

Believe it or not, there is no consensus on GWBS. Global Warming BS. There never has been. It has all been media and politician driven hype. There is no real science in it. It is a SCAM. It is a money laundering, power grabbing, government controlling, SCAM. I love this next paragraph.

Describing the arguments of the Tory right as perverse, Davey said he could not believe so many Conservatives failed to see the economic benefits of investment in green infrastructure, much of which would be from the private sector and so off the government's books. "Energy infrastructure is going to drive growth and what is even more significant is that a lot of the energy projects are shovel-ready – they are ready go tomorrow." 

"Shovel-ready?" Private sector? Then stop government funding them. Let the private sector do it's thing. What are they producing right now? What have we, or what have you, gotten from the money invested so far? How much have you reduced your need of oil and natural gas? What are the actual numbers?

Just like here, these GWBS kooks there, want government to legalize the "need" of green energy.

Davey also made it clear that he was in favour of introducing a legal goal to decarbonise the power sector by 2030 – something also opposed by Osborne – although he said he believed this could be done through secondary legislation and with less stringent conditions than were being proposed by many of the green groups. 

Problem is, there is nothing to switch to. Nothing proven to work. There is no market. Just like here, they are seeing a boom in the shale gas field. He doesn't like that. He thinks that this will hurt his and the other kooks chances on forcing the people to fork over more money, power, and control to government. Of course, he doesn't say that in so many words, but this piece ends with this paragraph.

While Osborne is known to be enthusiastic about a new "dash for gas" – which he sees as crucial to the country's future energy needs – Davey was sceptical about over-reliance on gas. In particular he questioned whether exploration of shale gas in the UK would change the need for a balanced energy policy. "As far as the British shale gas story is concerned I don't think it is a game changer at all, as we would still be dependent on imports." 

Like I said folks, other than the language and terminology, I would think I was reading the NYT and this guy is Al Gore talking about Republicans. Or Obama debating Romney or something. Truth is, just like here, they are wrong there. No one wants to see more billions wasted, on failed policies, in an already hurting economy.

They are right about one thing. The energy sector WILL increase jobs, revenue, national security, and lower the cost on all things, for all, in turn, help the economy to bounce back. But it is real energy. Not the green energy pipe dream. Not the SCAM. It is what makes the world go around, and we have plenty of it. Natural resources. Oil, natural gas, coal.

I also agree, we should continue to work toward clean energy. Call it green energy. But open it up, maybe even give tax breaks to those seeking it, but stop given them free money to line their pockets. Let the private sector find out how shovel ready those jobs really are. Get government out of it, and let the people that seek to profit from it, invest, and gamble with their own money. If it works? GREAT. Everyone will switch without being forced to. Evolution of energy will take place. They will become mega rich. If not, it was a gamble THEY were willing to take.

The press is making this big deal that this is his last address as President. Folks, Little Hitler is going nowhere. Remember what I told you about Putin? Who's in Charge of Russia? Trust me folks, Little Hitler is going nowhere.

Guest who else is coming? Yup. The new leader of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi. Yup. You know, former leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, now Egypts President. Whos first act was to declare Israel their number one enemy? Yup. THAT guy. He called the NYT, and asked for an interview where he made it clear, that if America wants Egypt to be an ally, then we must give up on Israel and go with the Palestinians. He said if we were committed to a Palestinian self-rule State, then they would honor their Camp David commitment, and treaty with Israel? Really? {Sigh}

I,,, Oh,, you know who this is, you know what this is. The Email is as always, opntalk@gmail.com. I wonder if Obama's schedule is such, that it will allow him to meet with these, (cough) fine, democratically elected leaders. I know he was too busy to me with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, too busy going on Lettermen, and partying on with Musicians. But maybe his schedule is a bit more flexible with these fine fellas?

So the National polls, with with all the spin, even with all the stacking of Democrats, seems Romney and Obama are now tied. Seriously. Like, all of them. So Obama's campaign manager Jim Messina told reporters yesterday, forget that. "We are winning." {laughing}

Even with all the games, even with all the manipulations, the Polls are starting to show them tied. Truth is folks, if these were true, straight forward Polls, Romney would be ahead majorly. But Messina wants you to believe that these do not matter. He claims that in every battleground state, they are either in the lead or tied, and that means that they will win. I guess we'll see in 45 days.

That is why I'm curious to see if Obama is stupid enough to meet with our enemies, while openly dissing our Friends. I'm not the only one watching this one. I have NO IDEA whatsoever, how any Jew could possibly vote for Obama. I really don't get it. If he is elected for another four years, America is done, Israel is gone, and the world will change. If America goes away, the world changes to a very dark place. Trust me on this. We are the light. We go out?

One of the other reasons people are not looking foreword to another four years is simply, they can afford it. Did you see this? Very little reporting on this. But it is true.

Nearly 6 million Americans — significantly more than first estimated— will face a tax penalty under President Barack Obama's health overhaul for not getting insurance, congressional analysts said Wednesday. Most would be in the middle class.

Look at these numbers folks,

The numbers from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office are 50 percent higher than a previous projection by the same office in 2010, shortly after the law passed. The earlier estimate found 4 million people would be affected in 2016, when the penalty is fully in effect.

That's still only a sliver of the population, given that more than 150 million people currently are covered by employer plans. Nonetheless, in his first campaign for the White House, Obama pledged not to raise taxes on individuals making less than $200,000 a year and couples making less than $250,000.

And the budget office analysis found that nearly 80 percent of those who'll face the penalty would be making up to or less than five times the federal poverty level. Currently that would work out to $55,850 or less for an individual and $115,250 or less for a family of four.

Average penalty: about $1,200 in 2016.

One of the problems is, you will NOT be covered under your employer plans. Private Health insurance will go bye bye. Which is the whole plan to begin with. They will go bye bye, and YOU will fall into a single payer plan. Government run Healthcare system. This is why it needs to be repealed.

I know I know, the facts get in the way of Obama trying to be re-elected. Just look around folks. Record high foreclosures. Still. Record high unemployment. Less people in the work force than EVER. More people on government assistance and food stamps. Record high debt. Credit rating down graded TWICE. Record high energy costs, as PLANED, The world grows more and more dark and dangerous. Really? Another four years of this? What am I not getting here? Why would ANYONE vote for this failure? The Worst President in the History of the Country? I know, I know, he has the moron vote. I just hope that the true Majority in this country, those with the ability to actually think, apply logic, and see reality, come out and Vote in 45 days. I am confident that if they do, we will see a repeat of 2010. Obama will lose in a landslide, and we may actually start the long hard process of repairing the damage to both this country, and the World.

Netanyahu Pulling For Romney? Surprised?

Hey folks,

So you have an enemy. He bullies you, picks fights with you. Calls you names, and wishes you to die. He then, starts building weapons to use against you. "I'm going to kill you. Just wait though, I have to finish this. Uh, would you like a cup of tea?"

Now your best friend, starts talking nice about your enemy. Not only that, your best friend starts being friends with your enemy, and telling you, YOU better be nicer. Then more enemies are watching this. Hey, this is cool. Now, now, now. Go now. We will not be stopped Now is the time.

So a new enemy arises, and takes over an entire government, WITH YOUR FRIEND'S HELP! The very first thing? They declare YOU their number one enemy. Your best friend? Well, he gives this new enemy a billion dollars. AFTER all this.

So is it really any surprise that Netty wants to find a new best friend? What is this from, Oh, The Guardian. Of course, not a US Outlet. They are too busy trying to convince you that the ONE, is still universally loved and will bring peace. {Sigh}

The political TV advertisement featuring Binyamin Netanyahu and the slogan "The world needs American strength, not apologies" is likely to fuel claims that the Israeli prime minister is interfering in the US presidential election in support of Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

Wait? So? Since when does a World Leader NOT have an opinion on who they want to win. Putin wants Obama. The Muslim Brotherhood, wants Obama. OH. I get it. He wants Romney, so he must be interfering in our elections. The American people will decide. If they are smart, they will vote with Netty.

It comes increasing during anxiety that Netanyahu has overplayed his hand in displays of warmth and enthusiasm for Romney while his relationship with Barack Obama grows more antagonistic. Some say Netanyahu is gambling too heavily on a Romney victory on November 6 and that if Obama is re-elected, the potential blowback could be damaging not just for the prime minister but for Israel itself.

Stop. This is OBAMA's fault. He ignores, insults, and rejects Israel, every step of the way. Of course they do not care what he thinks. He gives money to, aid to, and speaks highly of, Muslims all around the world. He meets with Terrorists, and would rather party with musicians and go on a comedy show, than meet with the Prime Minister of Israel, while they stand at the brink of war? This is ALL OBAMA's FAULT!!

Mark Regev, Netanyahu's spokesman, said the advertisement had "not been co-ordinated with us, we were not consulted and no one asked us for our permission". In an interview last week with the Jerusalem Post, the Israeli prime minister rejected accusations of interference in the election, saying they were "completely groundless".

But, according to Yossi Verter writing in Haaretz recently, US officials had relayed to a "very senior Israeli figure" that "in the eyes of the Democratic administration, Netanyahu is perceived as campaigning on behalf of Mitt Romney." To the president and his aides, the Israeli prime minister's actions look like "crude, vulgar and unrestrained intervention in the US election campaign".

SCREW OFF! If I were Netty? I would come here and shoot an ad WITH Romney, telling of all the things Obama has done to make the world more dangerous. I wouldn't care what Obama and Crew were saying. As a matter of fact, I would tell him to Screw off.

Joe Klein of Time magazine described Netanyahu's recent behaviour as "an unprecedented attempt by a putative American ally to influence a US presidential campaign".

Really. These people are morons. I guess they do not remember Little Hitler of Iran, the Muslim Brotherhood, people like Chavez, all pulling for Obama last election? Were they interfering? What about Putin this time around? Is he interfering? You people are a bunch of twits and dimwitted morons. Of course Netanyahu is pulling for Romney. Obama is no friend of Israel. He is a coward, and ignorant of world policies. Hell, he is STILL blaming the YouTube Video if the ATTACKS on 911 in Benghazi. And you people report this? Even though we know it was totally planed, some of the attackers were using heavy weapons WE supplied them with.

OK I'm done with this. It goes on a bit, how Liberals feel Netanyahu is so wrong, and that he is favoring Romney? Of course he is. Anyone with a BRAIN will be supporting Romney. We can't afford another 4 years of this garbage. The world will go to war. America will cease to exist. And Obama will become the Dictator he wants to be. This is what is at stake here folks. This is NOT Right vs Left. This is not Politics as usually. America is at stake. The World is at stake. We must make the right decision in just over a month from now. Really? Nothing else matters.

More than 20 countries across the Middle East and beyond are protesting our embassies; it has been violent and even deadly. But is the big picture is being missed?

It’s not the videotape stupid.

I am at my wits end hearing how a 14 minute trailer on YouTube, “Muhammad Movie Trailer – Innocence Of Muslims”, is the cause of these protests and riots.

Let’s get a couple of things straight from the get go. The movie was originally uploaded to YouTube in June, almost 4 months ago. Does the World Wide Web work instantaneously everywhere except in Arab countries?

After being up on the web since June it also just so happens that all these Arab nations saw at the exact same time and it just happened to be on September 11. It had nothing to do with the almost hour long video released by Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri that same day asking “Muslims worldwide to focus their efforts on fighting the U.S.”

Having said all that, let’s look at the even more than obvious. The Muslims we see protesting don’t need a reason to hate us, they always have. This goes back 211 years to the Barbary Coast wars, Thomas Jefferson and the Ottoman Empire.

Then there is the attack that killed the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens and staff members, Sean Smith, Glen A. Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods. This was a terrorist attack and I would stake my reputation on that!

On September 12, long before any other information had even started to come out I did a video “Gadi Adelman on the Embassy attacks” in which I stated about the attack on the Libyan Consulate,

“Again I say it was an excuse, [the Mohammed video] because it was 9/11 and you can bet your bottom dollar, connect the dots, Al-Qaeda was behind this”.

It is so obvious that what occurred in Libya was not a “protest gone bad” that it is ridiculous. Every expert on the subject from those in the military to former Consulate Marine guards to former diplomats have said this was a well-planned, precise military attack from start to finish.

Yet, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice was all over the TV this past Sunday reiterating the Obama administration’s spiel that the deadly violence across the Middle East was all the result of the anti-Muslim video.

Rice stated on Fox News Sunday,

“The best information and the best assessment we have today is that this was not a pre-planned, pre-meditated attack. What happened initially was that it was a spontaneous reaction to what had just transpired in Cairo as a consequence of the video. People gathered outside the embassy and then it grew very violent. And those with extremist ties joined the fray and came with heavy weapons, which unfortunately are quite common in post-revolutionary Libya, and that then spun out of control.”

Maybe with some video and common sense we can prove this was no protest “that then spun out of control”.

What was missing from that video? It was obviously taken at the time the building was burning. It had to have been filmed shortly after the attack. So, for the obvious question… Where were all the protesters?

If it’s one thing we have had no shortage of, its pictures and videos of Islamic protests. Hundreds or thousands of people screaming, throwing things, dancing, burning the flag, where were they?

You can’t have “a protest that spun out of control” without protesters. What’s more is the statement from the Interim Libyan President, Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf,

“The way these perpetrators acted and moved, and their choosing the specific date for this so-called demonstration, this leaves us with no doubt that this was preplanned, predetermined.”

There is absolutely no reason for Magariaf to admit that this was preplanned. From a political stand point it would have been better for him to make both himself and his country be void of any blame by just agreeing it was spontaneous.

The problem here once again is the media. I wrote in an article back in February 2011, in which I stated,

“Right now the Middle East is like a book of matches with sparks flying all around it, sooner or later a spark is going to hit the matches and the whole thing will go up in flames.”

Well, the spark has hit the matches; the issue is that the media seems to have a one track mind. There are other things going on that are just as important from a national security standpoint. Did we all of sudden forget Syria and the deaths of over 30,000 civilians which is still ongoing today, did we forget about Iran and their rush to nuclear weapons?

With everything going on in that region one thing is for sure, it is all connected and it is all important. We truly are on the verge of another Middle East conflict and it can easily progress beyond the region.

It would only take one missile, be it by mistake or intentional, to kill or injure American troops, to drag the U.S. in to another war, for that matter how many countries are there representing NATO in the area right now?

After I write an article on my blog I try to find sites that might be interested in hearing about the article to see if they would be willing to share it with their followers.  Accordingly, I recently wrote an article called "Simple Steps to Help Kids Develop Helpful Study Habits"

Teaching a child good study habits will not only make homework time easier, it will also help him earn better grades. Study skills are a foundational skill for school success, and what they learn in lower grades will serve them well for years to come.

Before diving into homework, work with your child to figure out what works best for him. Instead of trying to dictate what time your child should do his homework or what environment he works best in, work as a team to figure it out. When a child is part of developing a plan or coming up with a solution to a problem, he’s much more likely to follow through. Also, every person, whether it’s adult or child, has different needs. What works great for you may not work at all for your child. By letting him take the lead in creating good study habits, you’ll make sure they fit his needs.

Get on a schedule. Some kids do better when they have a short break between getting home from school and doing their homework. Other kids do better when they tackle homework after dinner. And others work best in cycles of 30 minutes of homework followed by 30 minutes of play time. The set-up doesn’t matter nearly as much as having a consistent schedule that fits your child’s temperament and attention span. Try different approaches and see which ones fits his needs best. Give each approach at least one full week before deciding to move onto something different. Your child’s homework schedule will probably change according to his after school activities, but you can incorporate what you know into the updated schedule (e.g. he works best after a snack, he has a hard time with TV transitions so it’s best to do homework before TV time, etc.). As your child gets older, he’ll know what time management approach works best for him and he’ll understand the importance of carving out time to focus on homework, studying, and projects.

Create a learning environment. Teaching your child how to create an environment that supports him in doing homework and studying is a key study skill. Although some kids are unbothered by a cluttered area, most children and adults do their best work when their work space is clean and organized. For children with ADD or ADHD, having an organized work area is essential. Noise is also an important part of a learning environment. Having the TV on is never a good idea. Some kids need absolute silence and others work well with music in the background. Before even sitting down, make sure to have all the necessary supplies on hand so your child doesn’t have to stop what he’s doing to go find an eraser or grab more paper. Phones and social media sites should be off limits during homework time. Texts, IMs, Tweets, and other updates create a constant flow of distractions and can derail even the best student. Teaching your child what type of environment works best for him will allow him to recreate that environment wherever he goes. As he gets older and his schedule gets more demanding, he’ll be able to effectively study at a friend’s house, at the school library, or any other place he’s at between activities.

Set up an organizational system. Being organized and having a study plan and a time table are essential in developing good study habits. Most schools require or suggest a spiral daily calendar so your child can write down his homework assignments each day. Make sure this calendar is handy when he sits down to do his homework so he can see each assignment, item by item.

Projects due at a later date usually require additional time and effort so sit down with your child and develop a plan to get it done. Help your child break the project into smaller, more manageable steps and create a timeline to get everything done. Have a larger calendar where you can record each step along with final project due dates, test dates, and other activities related to the child’s schedule. That way you’ll know if a softball game conflicts with a weekend writing session.

Find a convenient place to keep all handouts. Sheets listing weekly spelling words, study guides for upcoming tests, project outlines, and other important paperwork can go on a bulletin board or inside a binder or a file folder. The system that works best for you and your child depends on your home’s space, how much paperwork you have, and your personal preferences. Make sure that as your child gets older, he takes on more and more responsibility for emptying his backpack and putting papers in the agreed upon area.

Homework and study time don’t have to be a nightly battle. With some creative planning, you and your child can work together to create a schedule, space, and system that works for you both

Study suggests tie between BPA and child obesity

This is one of those things that come out all the time in the Health Research field , that makes you want to scratch your head. What? Just read this first paragraph.

NEW YORK (AP) — A provocative new study suggests a connection between the BPA chemical used in food packaging and childhood obesity, but the researchers say their findings don't prove it's the cause.

So the headline, "Study suggests tie between BPA and child obesity." Yet, the first line in the story is...

A provocative new study suggests a connection between the BPA chemical used in food packaging and childhood obesity, but the researchers say their findings don't prove it's the cause.

So it's there, but? May mean nothing? 

While most people have traces of the plastics chemical in their bodies, the study found that children with the highest levels in their urine were twice as likely to be obese as those with the lowest.

There are other factors that could explain the results, and many reasons why children gain too much weight, the researchers said.

"Clearly unhealthy diet and poor physical activity are the leading factors contributing to obesity in the United States, especially in children," said lead author Dr. Leonardo Trasande of New York University.

But the study does hint that causes of childhood obesity may be more complicated, he added. He said it is the first national research to tie a chemical from the environment to childhood obesity, and seems to echo what some studies have seen in adults.

One puzzling result: Significant differences were detected only in white children. For black and Hispanic kids, obesity rates were similar for those with the lowest levels of BPA as those with the largest amount. The researchers couldn't explain that finding.

The study was released Tuesday and is in Wednesday's issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association.

BPA, or bisphenol A, has been used since the 1960s and become so widespread that it's found in virtually all Americans. Government health officials have deemed low levels of it to be safe, but haven't been able to decide what amount of BPA — if any — would be a health concern.

BPA is used to make hard plastics for food and beverage containers and many consumer goods and for metal can linings. Environmental groups have worried it interferes with children's development. Makers of baby bottles and sippy cups stopped using it, and this year the Food and Drug Administration announced it could no longer be used in those baby products.

Some experimental studies on animals have found that BPA can aid obesity by disrupting metabolism and helping to make fat cells larger. And studies have suggested a possible tie between urinary BPA levels and obesity-related illnesses in adults, including diabetes and heart disease.

In the new study, Trasande and his colleagues used information from an annual federal health survey, which includes weighing and measuring participants and taking blood and urine samples.

Their study involved more than 2,800 children ages 6 through 19, who took the survey in the years 2003 through 2008. They compared BPA levels in their urine to their weight, and divided them into four groups based on BPA amounts.

The key finding: About 22 percent of the children with highest levels of BPA were obese, compared to just 10 percent of kids with the lowest levels.

Was the reverse true? Did the heaviest kids have more BPA in their urine, and the thinnest kids less? Yes, Trasande said. But he did not include those numbers in his study, and declined to provide them.

I have a question....Well, in a second..

The study raised more questions than it answered:

—The body excretes the chemical in a matter of hours. It's possible that the study is simply indicating that heavier kids are more likely to have recently consumed something from a BPA container.

—Only one urine sample was taken from each child, and the youngest children in the study were 6. What isn't known is how much BPA they were exposed to when they were infants — the time in life when the chemical theoretically could have had the greatest effect in triggering weight gain.

All this means is that the study raises some interesting questions, but at this point it's impossible to say BPA causes childhood obesity, said Linda Birnbaum, director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, a federal agency involved in research on BPA.

"It's a hypothesis that needs further exploration," she said.

The American Chemistry Council, which represents chemical manufacturers, called the study speculative and noted lab animal studies that found no evidence that BPA causes obesity.

"Attempts to link our national obesity problem to minute exposures to chemicals found in common, everyday products are a distraction from the real efforts under way to address this important national health issue," the organization said in a statement.

OK, they DID mention my question. "heavier kids are more likely to have recently consumed something from a BPA container." You think? If they got traces of the chemical in them? But this was my question. Perhaps it is not the container, but the product in it, that is causing kids to get fat. Just a thought. 

If we would get kids early, started off eating healthier, and teach them how to use their imagination, enjoy Gods gift of nature, and get them active? We would cut the obesity rate way down. Pick up a stick. Teach your kids that that stick could be a sword, a gun, a magic wand, whatever, and let them go out and play, get them out from in front of the computers and TVs, they will do far better.

The Romneys donated $4,020,772 to charity in 2011, amounting to nearly 30% of their income. 

The Romneys claimed a deduction for $2.25 million of those charitable contributions.

Can anyone tell me a Liberal that has donated 30 percent of the total taxable Salary to Charity? Anyone? Liberals LOVE to spread the wealth around,,,,,uh,,,,when it's not their own.

Should Sen. Democratic leader Harry Reid follow in the footsteps of GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney by releasing his 2011 tax return?

Dave Buell, chairman of the Washoe Country Republican party in Mr. Reid's political backyard of Nevada, certainly thinks so.

"Senator, make our day and release your 2011 tax return," he said in an email blast Friday evening.

Citing an anonymous source, Mr. Reid has repeatedly claimed in recent weeks that Mr. Romney "didn't pay taxes for 10 years."

Mr. Romney countered that over the past ten years he never paid less than 13 percent of his taxable income and that "Harry Reid's charge is totally false."

Shortly after Mr. Romney released the additional tax information, Mr. Buell blasted out the email calling for Mr. Reid to come clean and release hits tax records "so that all Nevadans can see that he is paying his fair share." He added, "In addition, Mr. Reid should explain to all of us how he became a millionaire on a bureaucrat's salary. Mitt Romney earned his money by investing in companies, people and creating jobs in the private sector while Harry Reid made his money by taking money from the private sector and redistributing it through government."

Mr. Buell also pointed out that Nevada has had the highest unemployment rate in the country.

Well Harry? What say you?

Congratulations Dave Buell, you are the winner of the Display of Logic Award for today, Sunday, September 23rd, 2012. I would like to see it. Time to wrap it up with the Idiot of the Week. I'm going to warn you though, this one pisses me off. This one, I no longer have any tolerance for, whatsoever. I am completely sick and tire of people, who's lives are so meaningless and sad, that they feel they have the right to dictate to others how to live their own.

I mean this. I've said it before, the older I get, the harder it is for me to suffer fools. But these dimwitted, busy body, morons? I'm completely done with these people. Do not dare to come to me and tell me anything. It will not be a warm reception.

This is why I do not, nor will I, ever live in a Condo, or in an area that has a HOA. I am me. I have a life. I have a right to live my life. In the pursuit of Life, Liberty, and Happiness. You, no matter how much you may want, have NO right whatsoever, to interfere with mine, and dictate to me anything! You do not like me? Don't care. You do not like the flowers I planted? Don't care. Don't like animals? Don't care. Don't like I believe in God, Jesus, and Heaven and Hell? Don't care. I do not care what you approve of or not. My life. You have your life. I do not care what you do in your life, as long as you leave my life to me.

Oh, and while I'm ranting, I will use the word Illegal. As a matter of fact, I will use the word Gay, in reference to happy. I will use the word Retarded.  I will talk the way I want to talk. Including using words in their proper context. You get offended? Too bad!!! Don't care. I'm tire of these morons attempting to hijack words. "If you use the I word {Illegal} you are a Racist." Screw off. "If you use the R word.?" Retard, and Retarded are medical and psychological definitions. Don't like it. Screw off. Don't like me saying Screw off? Screw off.

I will no longer adhere to Political Correctness. I will no longer bow to demands of others, to change me. I will not longer accept others telling me how to live my life. I'm done. Congress. Federal. Not State. Shall make no laws respecting, respecting {regarding; concerning} an establishment {To establish. To create.} of religion. Translated.....

The Federal Government shall not create a National Religion and create laws forcing all to worship that National Religion. Think, Church of England.

This is the part Liberals hate.. or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The Federal Government can NOT interfere with your RIGHT of Freedom OF Religion, and or, Prohibit you from practicing your Faith anywhere at anytime. Translation....

We can pray in school. Governments on State Levels, CAN display the Ten Commandments anywhere they chose. You can have "Christmas Displays" anywhere you want. The Federal Government can not create a Religion. They can not say you must now worship at the church of Obama and accept him as your savior. They can not copy the Church of England. One of the whole reasons we left. But they can not forbid YOU from practicing your Faith anywhere or anytime. Sorry. I do not care what a couple of people in black robes said in the sixties. I care what the Constitution ACTUALLY SAYS.

So this Twit. Dimwitted Twit, is the co-founder of the busy body, liberal group, "Freedom From Religion Foundation" She with her husband Dan Barker, who I think is the president, or something. She wanted to have a statue of Jesus taken off the mountain. They told her to screw off. This is that same Twit that said States should not have Christmas displays, because they are "not supposed to observe religious holidays." This is the same group that wants In God We Trust trashed.  They are a completely self important and irrelevant group. They mean nothing.

I've asked this before. Could it NOT be considered a form of Insanity, to spend the majority of your Life, fighting against something you do not even believe exists to begin with? You ever see a video if this Twit? She looks like a deer in headlights. She doesn't appear to be the sharpest knife in the draw. She gets her 15 minute of fame, whenever she gets someone to put her on TV for a segment. Other than that? She accomplishes nothing. She is completely meaningless.

Well, now she wants to ban Pregame Prayer at Neyland Stadium. She was told again, SCREW OFF. {Laughing} Just this statement by her tells you all you need to know about her intelligence level....

"When you're not religious or are of another faith and you get prayed at during events, it's really very grating. It's a sock in the gut for you to go for a sporting event and then be told to conform to someone else's religion."

They are not praying at you. They do not even care you are there. They are praying to GOD. You are not He. Prayed at. Twit. I've been places where they were offering up Jewish Prayers. Did I feel prayed AT? Nope. I've been in the Catholic Church. Did I feel prayed at? Nope. You are not important. You do not matter. No one in that arena cares that you, Mrs Gaylor, are even there. Don't like it? Don't go. I doubt you go to too many Football Games. Just another attempt to make yourself feel relevant. You're not. You are a joke.

You know folks, there is a growing trend in this country in the positive direction. More and more Mayors, Governors, private citizens, are all starting to say SCREW OFF to these twits and morons. More and more, Religious Symbols are being put up, and NOT taken down. More and more people are Praying for God in America again.

You see Mrs. Gaylor, you said yourself, I do not believe it is that high, but your said yourself, 15 percent of Americans do not believe in God. 15 percent? That means, 85 percent do. And the majority of US, are tire of people like YOU, that think you have the right to dictate to us how we should live. We tried removing God from America, look at the state we're in now? Hey folks,

My little mini vacation has been extended, and I'm loving every minute of it. I really need to do this more often. I may, in 46 days. I will officially be back on Sunday, September 23, 2012, for the Big Sunday Edition.

You know, although I've been away, I'm NEVER that far out of the loop in the news. I have friends in the News Industry, Politicians, Radio people, and even YOU, to keep me informed of what is going on. You would not believe the Emails I really need to go through. Not to mention a few calls I have to return.

So lets sum up the past week I've been away. The world is burning. The media is focused on attacking Mitt Romney, and getting Obama re-elected. Screw the Truth, facts, or anything else. Get Romney. China is about to go to War with Japan. Putin says he respects Romney for his honesty and directness. Yet indicates he is afraid of him. Oh, he doesn't say it. But he is. He knows he has a friend in Obama. Obama is not going to interfere with his plans. Romney just might.

Israel is all but surrounded by those who's stated goal is to destroy it. A leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, who is now the Head of Egypt, who's number one act as leader was to declare Israel enemy number one, is coming to meet with Obama. Isn't that sweet? Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu? Nah, Obama is too busy being on Letterman and hanging with musicians. Sorry Benny.

New report shows Little Hitler in Iran is months away from having nukes. We already know he will use them. We already know where the first strike will be. We KNOW for a fact, that the 911 attacks on our embassies have nothing to do with a stupid YouTube Video. We KNOW for a fact, that they were pre-planned, well organized, and most likely carried out using our own weapons. Yet this regime continues to lie to the American people saying it was spontaneous. Really? Obama and crew had a THREE DAY ADVANCED Notice. They did nothing. Did you know that our Ambassador being killed, our Embassies being attack, our Flag being burned and replaced with an INSANE Islamic flag, is NOT an act of war?

By the way, did you know our credit rating was downgraded AGAIN? Did you know that Obama came right out and said that he was for redistribution of wealth? Romney tells the truth, media plays the video over and over again, only to find out that it is edited. AGAIN. Yet they refuse to play Obama because they have not confirmed, even though they called the White House and said "Is this him?" and the White House confirmed it, and although it is CLEARLY Obama, they have not confirmed it is real. {Sigh} REALLY? Are ya kidding me?

Here at home? Unemployment back up. Gas prices over $4.00 a gallon AGAIN. More people out of work than EVER before. More people on Food Stamps than EVER before. Home foreclosures? You are not hearing about them anymore, STILL record highs. Credit rating takes another hit, record high debt. Party on Barry, party on.

Folks, I'm being serious here. We stand on the edge of losing this country all together. We stand on the brink of World War Three. We stand on the brink of darkness. If Obama is re-elected? I may very well be done with this Blog. I'm seriously entertaining this. I have been around since the late 90s. I started Blogging in 2006. I have been screaming from the rooftops, LONG before anyone else has, Liberalism is a quest for tyranny. That they WILL destroy this country in the hopes of rebuilding it into a Socialistic Utopia.

I have been warning you about Russia, and Putin. I have screamed to the top of my lungs that Little Hitler in Iran is going to get his nukes and use them. I have been telling you to watch China. I have been telling you to watch North Korea. This whole China Japan thing is new. But I have been telling you that World War Three is very possible. Now seems very likely. Hell, I told you before anyone else that the Mainstream Media is controlled my a MMD Guru. They all work together to create news. Attack, and do the bidding of their master.

Now everyone is telling you these things. Me, Sean, Rush, Mark, Tom even to a degree, Glenn, and many others. Sean is talking about World War Three, and has been for a couple of weeks, from what I'm told. I warned you about this long ago. Rush is telling you that the Media is working together to further agendas. Like getting Obama re-elected. I told you this long beforehand.

Now everyone who is anyone, is telling you what is happening, what will happen, and the truth, of the darkness that is coming. If Obama is re-elected, in the face of all this truth and information as to what is coming? The Death of America itself? I may very well quit this Blog. What would be the point of continuing?

Instead, I will concentrate my time and efforts over at TAG. The fall of a nation, is nothing, in comparison to one losing their Soul. We need God in our lives, and in this country, now more than ever. If the time draws near, that will be far more important for me to concentrate on than a lost cause of trying to save a country where the people vote it's utter destruction with blind ignorance and thunderous applause.

Just some thoughts I have entertained over the past week or so. Nothing in stone. Just thoughts at this time. 46 days to go folks. 46 days until you can let your voice be heard loud and clear. For America, the land of the free, home of the brave, where we have Rights endowed to us by our Creator, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? One Nation under God, in God we trust? Or? One nation under Government, in Government we trust. The choice IS your's.

Yet, invites Iran to a Hot Dog BBQ at the White House. 

Our Soldiers are in many places in the world, they have no business being in. Africa? Anyone? Who are we helping in the Middle East? We helped the Muslim Brotherhood take over Egypt. Anyone? We just sent them, who just declared Israel their number one enemy, over a billion dollars. Anyone? How many deaths are taking place of US Soldiers? Hello? Remember the death counts under Bush? Obama? 

Can ANYONE tell me what North Korea is up to? Anyone? How about our old friend Putin? Other than here, when is the last time you have heard anyone talking about Russia? Iran is building a Nuclear Bomb, taking over the entire Middle East, WITH OBAMA'S HELP! Israel is being surrounded by those that want them dead and gone. We? The USA? America? We are inviting our enemies, and the enemies of the world, to the White House. We are calling them "freedom fighters" and saying that what is going on in the Middle East is democracy. 

Look, Israel WILL defend itself. They WILL attack Iran. There is no question about it. If they don't, KNOWING that Obama will never do it, being friends with Muslims all around the world, Israel WILL be wiped out. We had better respond to their aid when they do. This will bring Russia and China into the mix, Others in the Middle East will join in, and World War Three. Israel and the US do nothing. BOOM! Israel gone. US City? BOOM! World War Three. Take your pick. I prefer to give our ally a fighting chance. If Russia and China stay out of it? All will be fine. For now. For a bit longer. 

"Oh see? We can't. Israel is to blame if this happens. Iran is not going to do anything. They are peaceful. You Islamophobes, you just hate anyone that is different than you." Nope. I understand when someone says, I want you dead, then starts building bombs to see that out, NEEDS to be STOPPED. 

You know, I'm sorry. Death of our Ambassador, destruction of our embassy, and outright promises of death and destruction of both Israel and America? All the attacks over the years. Sorry. I will no longer make the distinction. I no longer believe there is one. I will no longer say Radical Islam. Islam IS radical. Period! It IS a Religion of HATE. It is at war with anyone and anything not Muslim. So from this point on? No distinction needed. The is no radical fringe. They are the mainstream. Islam is at war with us. It IS taking over the Middle East. It IS infiltrating our Military, our Governments, the World. It IS a religion of Hate. 

So Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at the brink of War, wants to meet with Obama. Obama says no. He's too busy. He has to meet with Jay-Z and Beyonce. He has fundraisers to go to. He has to be on with Letterman. He is just way too busy. Sorry Netty, maybe next time. Oh, by the way, you better not do anything. Just wait. We got time. Obama will deal with you after the Election. 

Romney?

Yup. I can't imagine it either. I know, someone told me that Sean Hannity was saying we could be looking a World War Three. He said, he is the only one saying this. Not true. I have been warning you about this for years. I no longer feel it is a matter of if, but when. This President has made the world a far more dangerous place. His lack of response to the death of our Ambassador and invasion of our Embassy, will show the world that we are truly weak. Our refusal to create more of our own Energy, making us reliant on those very foreign governments that may be against us? Yeah. Kinda hard to fight a War without fuel. 

Everything this President has done, has made the World a more dangerous place. Not just for our allies, but for us as well. If he was too busy dealing with our Economy to clearly focus on the World, perhaps he could say, "Hey, yeah maybe I dropped the ball. I'll deal with all that next term. But look at America? Record High Job growth. Everyone can afford a Home, our Credit ratings at better than ever. Everyone is working, and can afford to get ahead in life. We are Energy Independent. We have less people on food Stamps and our debt is being paid down." Problem is, it IS the exact opposite. 

We need a Leader that understands how to fix the mess Obama put us in. Not just economic wise, but our standing in the world. A Leader that sees American greatness and is HONORED to be it's Leader. One that is willing to stand up for our allies, and stand up against our enemies. Not one that has failed everything, and is asking for another 4 years of more of the same.

OK, OK, OK!!! I get it. I forgot rule number one. Liberals lie. I got it. {Sigh} You would not believe the guff I've gotten from my Conservative friends over this. Seriously. Liberals are telling me that they are impressed that I posted both. AND that I did not comment. I'm in Bizarro-land. I'm being praised by Libs. and condemned by Conservatives. {Laughing}

What I'm talking about is,,,Oh Hey folks, you know who this is. You know what this is. The Email, some of you do not need a reminder (Laughing} is as always, opntalk@gmail.com. What I'm talking about is the Conventions. I posted, what I thought, was the most important Speeches. Christie, Ryan, Romney on the Right, Michelle, Clinton, Obama, on the Left. I purposely did not comment. I posted them as they happened, without thought, comment, or input by me, in anyway. On either side.

Look, here is what I was thinking. They have given up trying to hide who they are. I truly believe that they actually believe their own lies and hype, and think the majority of the country is a kooky as they are. That Conservatives are such a small number of back woods Hicks that cling to the Guns and Bibles and are Racist, Bigoted, chauvinistic, Homophobic, and such a small number they need not worry about them. They can finally be themselves.

So I was expecting them to be honest. I know, I know. But I did. I expected them to be honest about their views of the kind of country they want. Their plans for the future. ETC. I knew the Conservatives would. So I decided to simply Post the two Conventions Highlights, side by side, and let the people decide.

But I forgot rule one. Liberals lie. I get it. I should have known better. More on this in a second. Coming right up today?

So here is the thing. There were TWO Liberal Conventions. Well, TWO DNCs One was off mainstream cameras, when they didn't feel many other than those in the room were watching, and one went the cameras WERE on.

I was expecting to hear things like Conservatives Hate women, and are coming for women's health programs. They are going to throw Granny over the Cliff. They did. They also compared Conservatives to Nazis. We all belong to the Government. Government is the answer. Meltdowns at the Podium. Attacks on Faith. Even I did not imagine we would have the DNC Boo God three times. But we did. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, enough said there. We got all that.

Problem is, we got all that when they though the world wasn't watching. When the lights and cameras went on, we got Liberals playing Conservatives. America is the greatest country on the planet. Pull yourself up by your boot straps. Rugged individualism. God is good. Government is not the answer to all our ills. Seriously. I though we were playing back the RNC. Some of the stuff we saw on national televised parts of the DNC were more conservative than the Republicans.

Truth is, they do not believe ANY of it. What and who these idiots are, are those we saw, or heard about, when the camera's were off. Those that booed God and Israel. Those that were themselves. That, and even farther to the Left, if you can call it the Left anymore, not sure about that, is Obama himself.

I get it. My bad. I forgot Liberals lie. If someone that doesn't care, nor pays attention to politics, they watched this Convention, they saw what the LWL wanted them to see. We are just like the Conservatives. We care. We are compassionate. We have a better future plan for America. You know, Obama said the Republicans did not offer a plan. That is debatable. But the Liberals offered no plan either. Their only plan? Re-elect Obama.

4 years, 5 trillion dollars new debt. We got? Bigger more intrusive Government. Record high Unemployment. Record high Foreclosures. Record high Gas Prices. Record low National Security. We have ignored our friends, and assisted our enemies gain power and take over Governments. We are about to send them even more money. Do you really think they are the same as the Republicans? Well, maybe. But do you really think they are the same as Conservatives? Not even on the same planet. We tried it their way, look around. Time for REAL Hope and TRUE Change.
