Hey folks,
Seriously? What do the following statements have in common...
"We will not defend the Defense of Marriage Act."
"We do not care what the Judge says, Obamacare will continue.."
"California has no right to vote on prop 8."
"Arizona has no right to enforce federal law."
What do all these have in common? It would appear, that at its core, this is an abuse-of-power involving Obama and his office that disregarded the Constitution, ignored sound Constitutional practices, compromised public safety and does not hesitate to retaliate against his perceived critics.
Absolutely. I could not have said it better myself, oh, wait. Oh. This was not said about Obama and his administration. It was said about Sheriff Joe. It was said by Thomas E. Perez, assistant attorney general at the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. Again, he said this...
“At its core, this is an abuse-of-power case involving a sheriff and sheriff’s office that disregarded the Constitution, ignored sound police practices, compromised public safety and did not hesitate to retaliate against his perceived critics.”No Thomas, the federal government got slapped down in the courts, and you, make that your boss, just can't accept that. You sir, you, are the one engaged in unconstitutional actions. You sir, you, are the one ignoring sound separation of federal and state rights as laid out in the Constitution. You sir, you, are the one attempting to retaliate against your perceived critics. The saddest thing of all is, YOU sir, you, are doing all this for political expediency. Your boss is in trouble and he needs all the votes he can get. Legal and illegal. So to assist him in this endeavor, you are willing to shed the Constitutional, while claiming the constitutional right to do so?
You sir, YOU, Thomas E. Perez, are without a doubt, the Idiot of the week. But I do have to thank you for adding to those of us that are opposed to this President and his policies. Thank you for energizing yet another group of people to come out and vote AGAINST your boss.
Like your boss, I wish you well in all your future endeavors. Come November when your boss losses his job, my bet is you will not be far behind. Keep up the good work. {Smile}
Peter
