Hey folks,
First, here I am, minding my own business, driving down the road, and the top on the hour news comes on the Radio. "First time in 12 years, the US Ladies, bring home the Gold." Here I am, all excited to tune in and watch the Olympics last night, and now I know. They also reported Phelps wins the all time Medal Count. Yeah Phelps.
So I watched anyway. Second night I have been up to midnight watching the Olympics, while they are most likely waking up and starting their next day. The Ladies were on fire. Seriously. They blew everyone away. I did feel VERY bad for Russia's Anastasia Grishina, who scored the lowest score I have ever seen in an Olympic Floor routine. She scored a 12.466, leaving it up to Alexandra Rose "Aly" Raisman, who was last to go, after Gabby, and Jo, to score a 10 to win the Gold. Aly completely won over the crowd, blew the roof off, and finished her floor routine in tears of happiness.
I could not have been happier for them. They all pulled together as a team, an unbeatable team, and Jo {Jordyn Marie Wieber} got her Gold. It was heart breaking, and joyful, all at the same time when Gabby and Aly beat out Jo, for a shot in the All Around. But Jo bounced back nicely, and helped the Team to Gold.
Also impressive last night, AKA, Yesterday, was McKayla Maroney, who had one job to do. Vault. And Vault she did. She received the highest score of anyone, and or, anything. 16.233 which started our Ladies in the right direction.
Oh, and by the way, can we please stop saying that Kayla Maroney is too sensual. Seriously folks. Just because of her eyes, and she chooses, or doesn't, to smile with a closed mouth, or look at the camera in a way that some feel is too sexy, doesn't mean you are right. She is, well NOW, an Olympic Gold Medalist, and a kid to boot. Let her be her, and I hope she is having the time of her life over there. WAY TO GO LADIES!!!! Congratulations.

Oh and yeah. The Tea Party won Texas. Yup. Ted Cruz beat Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst 56 to 44 percent. Why should the Republican establishment care? Dewhurst was the establishment pick. He was the Establishment guy. Go along to get along. Work with. Compromise with. Politics as usual.
Ted Cruz? Tea Party backed, true Conservative, who is more, defeat, over come, repeal, and stop playing Politics with the future of his Voter's lives, Won hands down. He was also backed by Sarah Palin. You know, that evil and vile woman that the Left HATE.
Think about this. No one knew this guy. he came out of nowhere. Well, he is a former Texas solicitor general, but really, no one knew the guy. He WINS. Why? Because people are done. The American people are DONE. We are done with Politics as usual. I think Cruz himself said it best. Let this be a clear message to the Establishment, on BOTH sides.
Congratulations Ted Cruz, now make us proud.

“We are witnessing a great awakening. Millions of Texans and Americans are rising up to defend liberty and restore the Constitution. We are rising up to take our country back.”They is no doubt about it. The People are tired of Politicians, that get elected, and then forget want the People want. We WANT the America we grew up in. We WANT Smaller Government. We Want FREEDOM. We WANT the Constitution respected. Followed. Honored. We want Socialism defeated. We want all the madness to stop. We want the deficit cut. We want regulations lifted. We want Energy Independence. We want to send a clear message to our allies and enemy both, America is BACK!
Congratulations Ted Cruz, now make us proud.
