See A Doctor If....

Do not diagnose yourself.

Hey folks,

We talk a lot about health and science here. It is one of my favorite topics. I love science. I always have. I also love sharing tips for healthier living and helping to inform people what is going on out there, in reference to information about the benefits of various foods and medications, and what to avoid.

However, I TRY to always remind you that I am not a Doctor. Do not say anything I say as absolute fact. If you are feeling something is off, or you are sick, GO SEE A DOCTOR. Do not diagnose yourself. Do not start doing some sort of treatment, because you THINK you may have this or that.

You know, true story, I went to the Doctor just last month. I had Bronchitis. I knew I had Bronchitis. I get Bronchitis nearly twice a year. I contribute 30 some years of smoking to this phenomena. So I get it so often, I know what it is. If it walks like a Duck, Quacks like a Duck, it's a Duck. Right? So I go in and tell the Doctor "I got Bronchitis." The Doctor looked at me and said, "Let me do the diagnosis. Just tell me what is going on." So tests, more tests, and then Doctor says, "You have Bronchitis." Great. Now that we got that cleared up, can I have the meds.

However, the Doctor was right to make the statement "Let me do the diagnosis." Bronchitis is pretty simple. For me anyway. But lets say it was something else. I go and start taking meds, THINKING I have something, turns out, I didn't. Turns out I had something completely different. Now I treating myself for A, which is not doing anything for B, and could actually make B worse.

This is great advice by Health Day / Yahoo Health - What's That Symptom? Experts Warn of Self-Diagnosis Via the Web
FRIDAY, July 27 (HealthDay News) -- Got a weird ache or pain? A rash that's hung around too long? With the wealth of information now available at the click of a mouse, it's common to search the Web to figure out what may be wrong with you.
But a new study suggests that when the symptoms are your own, "self-diagnosis" via the Internet -- or anywhere but a doctor's office -- too often leads to inaccurate, worst-case conclusions.

Research suggests that people tend to overestimate their own risk for serious ailments, in a way that they wouldn't do if they were thinking about someone else's symptoms.

"This is particularly true when the disease is rare," said study co-author Dengfeng Yan, a doctoral student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
"That is, given the same set of symptoms, people will overestimate their own likelihood of getting such rare (often serious) diseases than that of other people."

The study was published online recently in the Journal of Consumer Research and will appear in the journal's February 2013 print issue.
Now of course there really are people that suffer Hypochondria. But this is not what they are referring to. Anyone. Anyone that is feeling something is wrong. If you go to the Internet and read symptoms are: fever, fatigue, sore throat. You say to yourself I have Infectious Mononucleosis. Do you? Maybe just the Flu. Strep? Could actually be anything. The article goes on.
In a series of six experiments, Yan and co-researcher Jaideep Sengupta gave nearly 250 college students information about such diseases as flu, HIV, osteoporosis and breast cancer.

In the experiment on flu, for example, the students were told they were simply being tested on what they knew about the illness. But the researchers then told them to imagine that they had a number of symptoms -- cough, fever, runny nose, headache -- and then asked whether they thought they had "regular" flu or the (at the time) rarer and scarier H1N1 "swine" flu. They were also asked to diagnose a hypothetical "someone else" with these symptoms.
According to the researchers, when referring to their own symptoms people were much quicker to diagnose the rarer H1N1 strain of flu compared to if they thought the symptoms were someone else's. In other words, their accuracy in correctly gauging the likelihood of H1N1 infection dropped if they were thinking about their own symptoms.

Why the difference? "We explain these effects using the concept of psychological distance," Yan said. With distancing -- in other words, thinking about someone else rather than yourself -- people tend to rely more on broader information such as statistics (that is, the likelihood any one person will get disease X) and less on information specific to the individual, such as the symptoms he or she is having.

"Consumers often fear the worst when it comes to their own health, while maintaining a calm objectivity with regard to others," Yan said. If you've got pain in the chest, you think: heart attack. If a friend of a friend has the same symptoms, you say: probably indigestion.
Or Heartburn. Something else I know a lot about. But this is typical human nature. We, for the most part, all, of us think of ourselves as the center of the Universe. I'm not talking about arrogance. It just is the way we are. We live in our bodies. In our own little worlds. In our Bubbles. We walk around and look at all these things that are around us, as if they are there for us. We look at others as those that benefit us, or not. Even just for friendships. We let in to our little worlds, very few. We love them, as we love ourselves.
When we see bad things happen, we always think, that could never happen to me. When we see that there is a possibility of us actually having something wrong with us, we fear the worse. Human nature.

But this type of thinking can have downsides, the authors write, often leading "to mistakenly diagnosing oneself as possessing a serious disease, causing both unnecessary anxiety and wasteful medical expenditure." They add that, "mistaken self-diagnoses of this sort are particularly likely given the ease of information access on the Internet, which frequently leads consumers to engage in 'symptom-matching' exercises."

The findings ring true with Dr. Peter Galier, an internal medicine specialist at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center, who reviewed the findings.
"I think it's human nature," he said. People are much more likely to worry about themselves and family members, he said, than about strangers.
Getting information via the Web can also make it difficult to decide what symptoms mean in the absence of a doctor's analysis. "When people are able to access a lot of information that isn't filtered, and they don't have expertise in the field, they don't know how to prioritize the information," Galier explained.

That's true whether you're investigating that strange knocking noise in your car but have no clue about mechanics, he said, or whether you've just spotted a lump in your thigh and have no medical expertise.

For instance, a healthy young man may have just drank a very cold soda and then has crushing chest pain. If he looks that up online, he is likely to see that the symptoms may point to a heart attack, Galier said. But that information doesn't take vital facts such as the man's age and medical history into account, he said. "Chest pain in a 55-year-old guy is looked at much differently than in a 25-year-old guy," he said.

Instead of doing amateur diagnosing on their own, Yan said, "We advise people to see a real doctor."

And as the new study points out, ''The advantage of seeing a real doctor isn't just because he or she is an expert," he said. "It's also that they aren't you."

For that reason, they will take into account less "emotional" information, such as how many people in the population actually get the condition you worry that you might have.
And what about that worrying time before you can get to your doctor's office? "People may simply tell the situation to their colleagues," Yan said, since they're likely to put those symptoms into a less panicked perspective.
So the bottom line is simple folks. If you do not feel well, or you feel something is not quite right, go see a Doctor. It's OK to research information on possible sickness and Disease, but the Doctor can tell you if you actually have it. Once you are diagnosed, your Doctor may even tell you where to find useful information about what the DOCTOR says you have, Online. But take MY Doctor's advice. "Let me {The Doctor} do the diagnosis. Just tell me what is going on."

Obamacare Will Make Big Insurance, RICH

You know, there are still people out there that think Obamacare will "Force" Insurance Companies into doing the "right thing?"

Hey folks,

I kid you not. There really are still people out there that have NO CLUE what Obamacare is all about. I was talking to two of them this past week. One attempted to explain to me that Obamacare is not funded by the Government. Yup. He actually believes that Obamacare is simply a group of greedy insurance providers, grouping together to make healthcare affordable for all and to care for those that have no insurance.

I asked him if he understood that Obama's own Administration released a report this week stating that the overall cost to tax payers, is now up to 2.8 TRILLION. He said, and I quote, "That's not how it works. You just don't understand."

The second person present in the conversation, who feels Obama will win in a landslide, has no clue that Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, Welfare, Food Stamps, and many other Government Programs are near bankrupt. Not a clue. Both said we are where we are because the "Rich" are keeping all the money. Government needs to get involved. I know, it's like a Sitcom, or a parody. But these two actually believe this garbage. One even blamed Bush.

I understand that people like these two, will never understand. It's not even worth the time to attempt to educate them. I bet they have no idea that if we took 100 percent of all the "1 Percent" have in this country, we could run the country for, what? Like Ten Days? What then? I know they can't see through their liberal ideology. They lack the ability to actually think. To apply logic and or reason. To actually learn what the truth is.

Look at this. Insurance Companies are going to be punished and forced to give everyone healthcare. Right? They will no longer be able to get rich off the backs of the people. They will "have to" do the right thing. Right? Wrong.

Now, because of the ruling by Chief Justice Roberts, everyone will HAVE to have insurance. So, everyone will have to go to insurance companies and pay them. If not, then you will have to pay the Government. So all these people are now going to be a cash cow for Big Insurance.

What about pre-existing conditions? What about it? They really do not care. If I have a million people paying me a couple hundred a month, I'm making a couple hundred MILLION a month. So I take one or two that have pre-existing conditions, who cares? Now because of Obamacare and the Supreme Court, my one million, just became two, or three. Now I'm making Billions,

Obamacare will bankrupt the country. It will RAISE costs on Healthcare. It will limit access to Healthcare. It will be a cash cow for Insurance Companies. So, uh, what's the point?

Alzheimer's Caregiver Guilt

You are NOT alone.

Hey folks,

We have talked about Alzheimer's in the past. Did a whole series on it as a matter of fact. I also introduced you to Vera. Vera was a 90 year old, sharp as a tack, quick witted, beautiful Woman. I met her while doing a stint in the Nursing Home Industry. I would sit with her for HOURS, talking, laughing, just sharing each other's company. I, mostly listening. She would tell me stories of the past, talk about her family, and would always ask how things were with me. She is the whole reason that I am now married to Laura with two great Sons.

As time when on, we noticed Vera slipping away. She started to fade in and out. One minute she was there engaged in the conversation, the next, she was changing subjects abruptly, repeating things she just said, ETC. As time went on, Vera was more out than in, if you will. She would think that I was her Son, Laura her Daughter, however, for some reason, she ALWAYS knew Joshua was Josh. She would start talking about things we had no clue about, but when she looked back at Josh, she would call him by name and even ask how he was doing. Then, she was gone.

It truly was a difficult time. I had left long before this, but continued to go there to see Vera. She was part of my family. I was truly sad to watch her drift off into nothing. This had such a profound effect on me, that I starting learning about Alzheimer's, and how it truly is a thief of the mind.

So here I am, checking Emails, and I get this. A copy of the Dear Abby Column. Why? I have no idea. I do not know the person that sent it to me. No explanation. No comment. Just, well, this...
DEAR ABBY: My mother's Alzheimer's became apparent after she was in a car accident. I should have noticed the signs earlier, but I didn't. Her body recovered, her mind did not.
I built a new house with a separate suite for her. My wife and I tried to care for her for a year, but I'm disabled and Mom was afraid of my wife. There was never a moment's peace. Fearing for our collective health, I finally placed Mom into an assisted living facility. It was one of the hardest decisions of my life.
My children criticized me but offered no alternatives. I visited her as often as possible. Because I could no longer drive, I sent someone with gifts and treats for her.
Mom died in 2007 after 10 years in the facility. The last few years she didn't know me from a doorknob. Her disease left my wife and me drained emotionally and financially. I still feel guilty for not doing more. The look of fear on her face haunts me still. Is this normal for someone in my circumstances? -- ONLY CHILD IN FLORIDA
DEAR ONLY CHILD: Yes, it's very common. I'm sorry for your mother's passing and the difficult years you and your family experienced because of her illness.
Given the progressive nature of Alzheimer's, it can be extremely taxing and affect the physical, mental and financial health not only of the person with the disease, but also his or her caregivers. When caregivers attempt to shoulder these responsibilities alone, they put their own health at risk. Moving your mother into a residential facility was a way to ensure she got the care she needed and take care of yourself at the same time.
Alzheimer's disease is often referred to as a "marathon, not a sprint." That's why it's important for caregivers to get help -- whether it's a residential facility, professional in-home help or family and friends. If they don't, the results can be disastrous.
It's common for caregivers to feel guilty and wish they could have done more, but it's important that you let these feelings go. You did everything you could to ensure your mother received the best care possible. If you need to talk to someone about your feelings, call the Alzheimer's Association toll-free 24/7 helpline at 800-272-3900, or visit alz.org online to find a local chapter or support group.

Folks, I worked in the Nursing Home Industry for 3 years. I spent time getting to know those that spent time there. I made great friends. I became family with some, like Vera. I also saw the care that the rest of the staff gave. For the most part, it was great care. Everyone there, DID care. From the Nurses to the CNAs, to the visiting Docs. The people were very well cared for.

I understand, and actually agree, that the plan is, and always was, you take care of your kids, they take care of you. If you get old and unable to care for yourself, your kids should be there for you. HOWEVER!!! Here is the thing. If this is not possible, hear me, not POSSIBLE, than you really do need to consider an alternative.

When I say not possible, I mean NOT possible. Not inconvenient. Not because you would rather run around the house naked and can't be bothered with having Mom there. I mean truly not possible. No money for the care giving. Physical limitations. Even mental limitations. There really are times you just CAN'T help.

If you are dealing with someone with this devastating disease, just know, you are not alone. Please, check out and get in touch, with someone like the Alzheimer's Association. They truly can help you. Seek out and find a good Healthcare Facility in your area that have people that not only care, but are trained to do what is best for your loved one. That is why they are there. You do not have to feel guilty about seeking help. And you do not have to go it alone.

Lifeguard Wins Key, Oh, Buy A Gun,

Preview for Sunday 070812

Great news...
HALLANDALE BEACH (CBSMiami) – Lifeguard Tomas Lopez’s journey this week has been all over the map. He went from being hailed for helping save a life, to being fired for leaving his beach, to being offered his job back.
But Monday, Lopez will once again be hailed, this time by Hallandale Beach. Mayor Joy Cooper told CBS4’s Carey Codd Friday that Lopez will receive a key to the city in a Monday morning news conference.
Commonsense prevails. Good luck attempting to find someone to work for your company now. Was it worth it?

Hey folks,

Yes I'm still fighting. Day FIVE now with acute Bronchitis. Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. It really is appreciated. One of the benefits, if you can call it that, of not being able to walk much past the distance of the size of a room, is that I have a bit of extra time on my hands to sit here, doing what I love to do. Scanning news, investigating facts, catching up with my online friends, and sharing Infotainment with YOU.

Welcome to the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk2 Blog. I am your every healing host, Peter Carlock, and I thank you for stopping by. If you want to send in well wishes, prayers, articles, comments, or just say "Hi" the Email is, as always, opntalk@gmail.com.

Lights Out On Another Green Energy Company, $98.5 Million Gone

All that in just a few minutes. Last week, in the IWA for Sunday, 070112 I talked about the new Grapefruit Tax. The fact that because of Chief Justice Roberts decision, the Government can now mandate that you buy ten pounds of Grapefruit every week. How about another analogy that blows that right out of the water..

OK. So what really effects Healthcare costs? Trauma. Let's say you are walking down a street, and some thug decides, "I'm going to mug ya." You do not have anyway to defend yourself, so you get shot. Now you end up in the ER. Doctors have to take extreme measures to save your life. You may be in for a long healing process and all those follow up costs.

Well. There is a Second Amendment in our United States Constitution that declares every American has a Right to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. So now as President, not only do I feel we need to follow the Constitutional Mandated Freedom to Bear Arms, I feel it is a Mandate to actually DO exactly that.

Look in areas in this country that have a more liberal "Free" view of Gun possession. Crime rates are WAY down compared to area's where gun ownership and possession are over regulated. That is just a fact. If someone seeking to do you harm think that you may also have a gun, and know how to use it, they are less likely to attack you.

So based on three things. One, National safety and well being of Citizens everywhere. Two, it's completely Constitutional. Three, it can and will reduce violent crime leading to higher healthcare costs. Based on these three reasons, I now issue a mandate that EVERY US Citizen in this country from the age of 18 to 80 years of age, take a new Government funded and mandated training course, and go buy a gun.

For those of you who feel you do not want to participate in this new Guns for all program, The IRS will now have the authority to check. If you do not show proof that you have taken the course, with an updated training section on a yearly bases, and you have not purchased a gun. You will pay a new Gun Tax at the end of the year. We will give everyone time to get on board. So Year 1 and 2 you will pay $1000.00 After year 3, it goes to $2000.00 After year 5, if you have not shown participation yet, you will be mandated to pay $5000.00 a year, plus another $1000.00 per every member of your family in the household who does not have a gun. Including children.

This is for the well being and good of all in this country. Do your part. Go buy a gun. It Constitutional, and it is NOW the Law of the Land. There are many Governors all across the country who see this for what it is. And it is not good. One of the silver linings of the Ruling, is that States do not have to participate in the Medicaid expansion. Many, like our Governor here in Florida Gov Scott, have already said "No thank you."

Many are even turning up the heat in their responses. One taking some heat is the Governor of Maine, Gov. Paul LePage, who said this...
"We the people have been told there is no choice. You must buy health insurance or pay the new Gestapo -- the IRS."
Then he went on to tell the truth about the actual consequences already being felt, and what is to come in the future..
"However, Maine is already a welfare expansion state because of the generous benefits offered," he said, adding that Maine's welfare costs are among the highest in the nation because the state had expanded Medicaid prior to the Republican electoral sweep of 2010.

"With these looming uncertainties circling around this issue, Maine cannot move forward right now with Obamacare. " LePage said.
He said the Law WILL
"Raises taxes, cuts Medicare for the elderly, gets between patients and their doctors, costs trillions of taxpayer dollars, and kills jobs."
And it will. Then he made this statement. The is an absolutely TRUE statement.
"Even more disheartening is that reviving the American dream just became nearly impossible to do. We are now a nation which supports dependency rather than independence. Instead of encouraging self-reliance, we are encouraging people to rely on the government."
Folks, THIS is why November is so important. America itself is on the line here. We created Welfare. Now we have Welfare states. We created and expanded Unemployment. Now we have record high people sitting home not even looking for jobs. We created Food Stamps. Now record high number of people are getting all the free food they can. We created Social Security. People stopped saving for their retirement. Whenever the Government expands, creates programs for people to rely on, people rely on them and learn there is no other option. Or they just simply become compliant to remain "Taken Care Of."

This has all come about in incremental steps. Obamacare or Obamatax, is just the latest. However the largest Power Grab in US History. It can not be allowed to stand. This ruling by a Supreme Court Judge, must be done away with before it takes hold. If not? America will continue down it's death road, taking freedom with it.

Judgement Day For Obamacare Is Here

What the world is watching.

Hey folks,

Is there any doubt whatsoever, on what the world, not just our country, but the world will be talking about? Today is perhaps the second most important Judgement Day, in recent years. November 6, 2012 is the BIG one. That is Judgement Day for America itself. But today? Today we find out if the Supreme Court agrees with the truth. Obamacare is unconstitutional.

Remember back in the beginning of this whole thing. The LWL did everything in their power, bribes, strong arm, illegal tactics, everything and anything they could do to get this thing jammed through. No one wants it. Over two thirds of the America people are against it. They passed this garbage without even reading it.

Obamacare has NOTHING to do with healthcare. NOTHING. It is all about government control over peoples private and personal lives. It's all about growing government. It's all about furthering agendas. Not to mention government control of a HUGE chuck of the economy.

So? Many said, uh, I don't think so. So battles and rhetoric broke out. It ended up in the Supreme Court. The Liberal controlled media, dutifully reported that this was not even a question. Of course the President can do this. He is Obama. He is god. Of course congress has the power to force everyone in the country to buy health insurance. They are smarter than you. They know what is best.

As a matter of fact, when this first went to the Supreme Court, most "reporters" were saying this is a slam dunk for Obama. CNN's Jeffrey Toobin predicted an eight-to-one vote upholding the law. "Reporters" from all the major Networks were echoing him. There is no way this will even be close. Of course the mandate forcing all Americans to buy health insurance is Constitutional. Besides, without that, there is no way to pay for it. Which is true.

But then came the oral arguments. It became apparent, at least it seems apparent, due to the questions the Justices were asking, that they were not willing to lay down and simply rubber stamp Obama and crews Obamacare plans. So they have been doing what they do. Attacking certain Judges, and "reporting" doom and gloom for the country, if Obamacare is not found Constitutional.

I have told you this for years folks. They only attack what they fear. Look at Palin. {Laughing} Look Conservatism itself. Look at Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, all of Conservative Talk Radio itself. Look at their attacks on the New Media. Look at their attacks on the Tea Party. Oh, by the way...

“These Tea Party Republicans have worn out their welcome. But I’m telling you — getting rid of ‘em won’t be easy. They’re not leaving on their own. We’re going to have to boot them out the door like unwanted house guests. That’s why we’ve got to get behind proud Democrats like Louise Slaughter to make sure we can win a Democratic Majority.”

James Carville wrote this in an Email entitled "The Tea Party is Over." No it's not. Look at 2010. Look at 2011. Look at Wisconsin. Look forward to 2012. The Tea Party is one of the reasons that Obamacare and the mandate got to the Supreme Court to begin with. Sorry James.

I know the left love to think that they came up with their own version of the Tea Party in the whole Occupy B.S. However, what has the Occupy crowd actually accomplished? What has the Tea Party actually accomplished. Yeah.

So today is Judgement Day for Obamacare. This should be an interesting day. See you tomorrow to talk about it.

Obama Did Not Make A Mistake, Preview

Preview for Sunday 052712

Hey folks,

Happy Sunday to ya. Hope all is well with you and yours. This IS the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk2 Blog. I am of course, your Provocateur of Thought himself, Peter Carlock. Glad you stopped by today.

Obama did not make a mistake. Everyone is saying, "Look how stupid Obama is. Saying sons. When everyone knows he has daughters. We all know he has two daughters, and here he is saying my Sons. Twice. Idiot." Nope. He is not an Idiot. and he made no mistake. More on that in just a second.

This was one of those busy weeks folks. The Emails were flowing in, my stack of news I wanted to talk about was growing daily, and a couple of you, just said "Hi." If YOU want to be part of the OPNTalk2 Blog, you can send articles, comments, complaints, or of course, just say "Hi" to opntalk@gmail.com

Coming right up today?

Putin Bringing Back USSR

As you can see we have a lot to cover today. We'll get to all that in a second. I do not even have time to talk about Dreams. The fact these two guys invented a way for you to control them. I'll have to do that another time.

OK Obama. Now I know there are a lot of people calling him stupid. "He's an idiot. How else do you explain him making such a stupid mistake. Not only once. But twice. We all know he has two daughters. Yet, on two separate occasions, he said sons. What was he thinking?" Seriously folks. Here is an example.
In two campaign speeches over the last two days, President Barack Obama has twice mistakenly mentioned “my sons” when defending his administration’s regulation requiring virtually all health-care plans in the United States to provide women, without any fees or co-pay, with sterilizations and all Food and Drug Administration-approved contraceptives, including those that can cause abortions.
See the Videos HERE
He is not stupid folks. He is an idiot because of all his failed policies. But he is not stupid. There are two possibilities. One, he was talking figuratively. Meaning all children. Sons and daughters. Male and female. Not saying his own flesh and bone, but saying he wants his daughters to have the same rights they would have, if they were his sons. I know, I sound like NBC. Right?

OR? Here is what I truly believe he meant. All children are his. That he IS the Father of all children. He is the Father of the nation. He is god. He is the final authority. The law of the land. The messiah. The One. He wants all his children to have the same rights. To be equal.

Look, we already know who this guy is. We already know that he really does believe that he is King. He is trying to destroy the country as founded and "fundamentally change" it into something it was never meant to be. Unlike Washington, he WANTS the crown. He WANTS to be King.

Why else do you think Queen Michelle takes her own plane 4 hours before him on vacation? Why else do you think he rents out the entire Taj Mahal? Takes all these elaborate vacations all over the world? Because he feels entitled to it. He doesn't care about you folks. Especially if you are a rich white person. He doesn't care about the single parent working two jobs. Black man? He doesn't care about you. Did I just go there? Yup. To all my friends in the Gay community? He doesn't care about you. It is still sad to me that some of you actually believe he really believes that Gays should be allowed to get married. Barack Obama, cares about Barack Obama.

So when he makes statements like "my sons" he means it. His sons. His daughters. His people. He does not see "The People" as those he serves. He sees "The People" as subjects. Someone to rule over. Make no mistake about it. He and those that have drank the Obama Kool-aid, are panicking. There are those out there that have drank the Obamaide. Look at our idiot of the week. They see Obama's reign coming to an end in a couple of months. They are in a state of panic. Many of do not even know why. But they will do ANY and EVERYTHING they have to, to get him re-elected.

No. Obama did not make a mistake. He meant every word of it. Like I said, he is far from stupid. He has done all that he has done, on purpose. Intentionally. Look around you. Imagine four more years with nothing to loose.

Going to fill my cup. Go fill yours. Be right back..

DLA for Sunday 050612

Lets start by saying this does not ban abortions.

Hey folks,

I can hear it now. As a matter of fact, in this very article, you read the stupidity of the Liberal Left on full display. Or? The the hope you are too stupid to not believe what they are telling you. But I can hear it now. "Republicans hate women. Jan Brewer is evil and wants women to die in back allies, and wants women to die on the floor." Uh, "Republicans do not want women to receive any kind of healthcare at all."

But none of this is true. As a matter of fact, none of this does anything to BAN abortions. It does not make abortion illegal. It is not an attack on women. It's not an attack on healthcare. It simply says that MY money, being against abortion, will not pay for it. It really is this simple.
"By signing this measure into law I stand with the majority of Americans who oppose the use of taxpayer funds for abortion."
She is telling the truth. Most in this country do not believe in abortion. A lot of them see it for what it is. Murder. The Murder of the most innocent life. However, even most who believe in "Pro-Choice" also believe that taxpayer funds should not be used for it.

Of course, those on the far left loon fringe of the "Pro-Choice" movement, and of course those that make a living in Murdering innocent lives, are upset with this. So upset that they actually said this..
"We are most concerned about the women and men who could be forced to go without health care as a result of this bill," Bryan Howard, Planned Parenthood Arizona's president and CEO, said in a prepared statement.
"We remain committed to providing Arizona communities with the professional, nonjudgmental and confidential health care they have relied on for 78 years," Howard said.
No one is saying you can't. By the way, when is the last time you heard of a man going to Planned Parenthood? Seriously. I'm asking. Anyone? Can anyone tell me what guy goes there for healthcare? It's been my experience in the past that Males are not really wanted there. We have no say whatsoever on "the Women's 'Right' to chose." There is no "Right" by the way. Anyone?

But besides that, no taxpayer funding does not equal no abortion. If you truly believe in it, you pay for it. If there is a card carrying member of the LWL {Left Wing Looneys} that is well off, and really cares, I'm sure that PP would be more than happy to take your donations.

Congratulations Gov. Jan Brewer. Not only did you hear, listen to, you stood up for the people in your state,. You did the right thing here. Of course I would not be the least bit surprised that a new lawsuit will soon be filed by Obama and crew. Just saying. But for doing the right thing here, you are the winner of the Display of Logic Award for today, Sunday, May 6th, 2012. Keep listening to the people Gov. Keep listening.
Peter
