IWA for Sunday, 070112

Not just Obamacare, but the future.

Hey folks,

Now, my response has not changed. I could sit here all day and opine about how the Court upholding Obamacare is a monstrosity of a disaster for this country. Well, Obama is a monstrosity and catalyst of disaster for this county, but you get what I'm saying. I could latch on to the talking points. I could call Chief Justice Roberts a Traitor to the country. I could tell you all the conspiratorial theories out there. I could attempt to explain this away as Justice Roberts attempting to hand Obama a Presidential loss in November, by inciting the anger and rallying the public against him. But it changes NOTHING.

The Highest Court in the land, just ruled Obamacare Constitutional. Like it or not, for whatever reason, it is now legal. So? What can you do about it? There is only one thing you can do. VOTE! November 6th, 2012. Vote Obama out. Vote sheer numbers of Conservatives in. Allow them to repeal this insane attack on the economy and freedom. That's it. That's all you got. November 6, 2012.  Nothing else really needs to be added to that response.

However, as far as what Roberts did? This has far reaching implications. This goes far above and beyond Obamacare. Now you can argue what Roberts did was unconstitutional in and of itself. He CHANGED the law that was argued before him, just so he could pass it. They said, "It's a mandate." THAT was found to be unconstitutional. They can't do that. But Roberts, CHANGED "Mandate" to "Tax." Then he ruled that the federal government can indeed tax ANYTHING.

Now Romney wins in a landslide. We take back the Senate. We control the House. Obamacare is repealed. Obama and the LWL are out on their arrogant butts. Obamacare is gone. Romney brings this country back. He does a great job and is re-elected. 8 years of prosperity and true hope and change takes place. 8 years from now, people forget.

They forget the disaster that was Obama. They elect another Obama. Another Lib. That Lib decides, you know what? "We have an obesity problem in this country. Who can argue that? We have decided that, since science has proven Grapefruit is good for you, it speeds up metabolisms, burns fat, and is good for your general well being, you will now need to purchase ten pounds of grapefruit every month. For those of you who do not wish to participate in the new "Grapefruit for Health Program" you will have to pay a thousand dollar "Grapefruit Tax" at the end of the year. The IRS will require that you show your Grapefruit recipes at tax time to avoid this."

When someone stands up and says "Wait. The government can not mandate I buy ten pounds of Grapefruit a month." They can point to THIS decision by Chief Justice Roberts, and say, "Yes we can." This is my problem with the ruling. It's not even the fact Obamacare and the ":mandate" uh, I mean, "tax" was found to be Constitutional. It's the way it was MADE Constitutional by one Justice. Then he said, "It is not the Court's job to protect the people from the political choices they make." You elect a person that decides to enact an agenda you do not like? Tough. You voted for it. They can tax anything.

The precedent set in the Obamacare ruling goes far beyond just Obamacare. For not seeing that, and doing what he did,  Chief Justice Roberts  is, without a doubt, the idiot of the Week. At this point, he IS the Idiot of the Year. You can wipe the grin off your face Chief Justice Roberts. YOU just opened the door for bigger government, and less freedom. You just opened the door to tyranny on a level never before seen in this country. You Sir, are so far beyond ignorant, I do not even know how you look at yourself in the mirror.

One of the biggest Liberal Justices EVER, found the entire Law unconstitutional. Not only did you go against him, the People, but you went against the very foundation of this country. You are a disgrace to the highest country in the land. You are a disgrace to freedom. You may not even realize it. That is the saddest thing of all.
