Good and Evil, Right and Wrong, God or Man

Remove God, something else takes His place.

Hey folks,

For the most part, those Americans that love this country, and believe in freedom and the American Dream, all have something in common. They also believe in God. They believe that this country, and they are correct, was founded on Judeo - Christian beliefs.

Some would argue, incorrectly, that the Founding Fathers did not want God in public life. They say that this Country was not founded on Judeo - Christian beliefs. It was. They would say that allowing God in public life is a violation of the "Wall." Well, first off, and yet again, there is no WALL. The phrase was taken from a private letter, not the Constitution. Second, the Amendment they are taking about is to protect the CHURCH. It is Freedom OF not FROM Religion. The founding Fathers put that there because that was the whole reason we left to come here. They wanted to make sure, that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT did not establish a National Religion. In other words, the Church of America. Then through laws, and oppression, FORCE you to worship there.

But there has been a consorted effort by some in this country to remove Faith and God from Public life. No God in school. Look at our school system. No God on our Money. Money has become SOME people's god. No God in our National Anthem. Remove that little annoying part that says "One nation under God." Forget the part in the Bill or Rights that say we are all given Rights and Freedom by our Creator. Forget the mention of God in other countless historical documents.

But whenever you remove God and morals, something else has to fill that void. The more God and morals are removed from society, the darker society gets. The more crime rises. The "anything goes" mentality, allows ANYTHING to go.

Look at the difference in the Tea Party Rallies and the Occupy Crowds. The Tea Party, come rally, clean up, go home to families, jobs, and Church. Occupy? They come, and stay. They trash the place, waddling in their own disgust. They steal, destroy, and even abuse one another. Rape and assaults were rampant. There are no consequences for your actions, if there is no conviction of what is right and wrong. This is why so many fight to denounce God and anything of faith. No God? No Devil. No Heaven? No Hell. No Sin? No consequences. Do what you will.

You can clearly see the Moral Decline in this country over the past few years. We removed God and we are reaping what we have sown. So anytime I see something like this next article, it get's me thinking.
(RNS) As skeptics, atheists and humanists prepare to gather for their largest meeting in Las Vegas this weekend, attendance by women is expected to be down significantly.
Officials for The Amazing Meeting, or TAM, said Wednesday (July 11) that women would make up 31 percent of the 1,200 conference attendees, down from 40 percent the year before. A month before the conference, pre-registration was only 18 percent women, organizers said.
Alright, first. Do you know how many people in this country believe in God? Do you know how many people live in your town? 1,200 conference attendees? 1,200? They next time you hear that more and more people are turning atheist, rejecting Religion, God, or, anything Faith Based, think about this. This is their "Amazing Meeting." Like a super bowl of atheism? They have an estimated thousand people showing up? That's it? Anyway, back to the article.
The explanations are many -- the bad economy, that women, as caregivers, are less able to get away, and that more men than women identify as skeptics, whose worldview rejects the supernatural and focuses on science and rationality.
OR? People are getting tired for the whole No God thing, and are seeking and finding, the TRUTH. Just saying? Especially in tough times. Which do you feel is more comforting? You are it. That's all there is. You are born to die. In between, you go to school, work, retire. No plan. No purpose. You just are? OR? There is a loving God that has a plan and a purpose for you and your life. To live life to the fullest, you should seek Him and His plan. But if you are his child, he will never leave you, nor forsake you. So, again, which do you feel to be more comforting?
But in the weeks preceding TAM, another possible explanation has roiled the nontheist community. Online forums have crackled with charges of sexism in TAM’s leadership and calls for the ouster of D.J. Grothe, the male president of the James Randi Educational Foundation, TAM’s organizer. In June, Rebecca Watson, a skeptic blogger and speaker, canceled her TAM appearance because, she said on her blog, she does “not feel welcome or safe.”
Other nontheists -- both male and female -- have shared stories of unwanted sexual attention at nontheist gatherings, including propositions for sex and unwelcome touching. Chatter has ranged from calls for more women to attend nontheist events to personal attacks on prominent female skeptics for discussing harassment. Meanwhile, two more skeptic/feminist bloggers announced they will not attend TAM.
The debate has had two major impacts -- a call for cooler tempers and the immediate implementation of sexual harassment policies by all of the major nontheist organizations, both national and regional.
No one is suggesting that all nontheist events are unsafe for women. But the controversy has members of the nontheist community, which prides itself on its embrace of rational thinking, asking whether they have a sexual harassment problem. And if so, what should be done?
“We are a small movement, so it might be very important for some men and women to find a partner who shares their beliefs,” said Maggie Ardiente, director of development for the American Humanist Association, which recently adopted a sexual harassment policy. “That does not mean sexual attention, when it is clearly rejected, is allowed. We need to be clear that these events are a great way to meet people, but there are appropriate ways to conduct yourselves. There are common-sense ways to address this for both men and women.”
No there isn't. See that's the problem. That's the end result. Whenever someone like me talks about morals, I'm asked Who's? What makes my morals better than anyone else? Why should others be forced to accept "MY" founding belief system. What is right for me, may not be right for all. So live and let live.

The problem is, live and let live, means that you allow anyone to live, anyway, that they chose. In other words, if a guy wants to treat a woman like an object, grab her boobs, rape her, whatever, who are you to say he can't? Anything goes in an anything goes society. Once you start laying down "rules" and setting "regulations" then are you not creating a set of "laws" for others to follow? How then is that different from say the Ten Commandments? Or The Laws of the land. Or a standard Moral Code?
This is not the first time the skeptic community has struggled with sexual harassment charges.
Last year, at another skeptic conference, Watson said she was approached late at night in an elevator by a man she believed was seeking sex. When she blogged about it, the “atheosphere” erupted in comments, both supportive and negative. British biologist Richard Dawkins, the best-selling author of “The God Delusion,” wrote that Watson should “stop whining” and “grow a thicker skin.”
(Laughing} Stop whining and grow thicker skin? See. That guy that approached her in the elevator has a right to these idiots, to act any way he so chooses. Again, anything goes.
The current hullabaloo can be traced to May’s Women in Secularism Conference, a first-of-its-kind gathering about nontheist women. On a panel examining feminism and nontheism, Jennifer McCreight, an atheist blogger, said women speakers at nontheist events warn each other privately about male speakers who make unwanted sexual advances.
“They brought up a concern about harassment at conferences and I was not aware of that problem,” said Ron Lindsay, president of the Center for Inquiry, a humanist-skeptic group that organized the women’s conference. “Maybe I should have been. But once I became aware of that concern it wasn’t that difficult to come to a decision that we should have a policy in place to deal with that.”
CFI unveiled its policy earlier this month. American Atheists, American Humanist Association, and several large regional groups have also announced policies in the last few weeks. Most organizations had sexual harassment policies covering their employees and workplaces, but the new policies are aimed at non-employee attendees at special events.
As these groups and others unveiled their policies, members of the skeptic community asked whether TAM had one in place.
And that’s where things got ugly. In an appeal to assure women that TAM is welcoming and safe, Grothe made comments that upset some in the community. They accused him of underplaying, and even ignoring, reported harassment at past meetings, and of “blaming the victims” of the alleged incidents. Grothe apologized to Watson on her blog, Skepchick.
“I believe strongly that women’s voices need to be taken seriously in the atheist and skeptics movements, that any reports of harassment or assault at atheist and skeptics events need to be taken seriously and recorded, and acted on effectively, and that those who make reports of such harassment shouldn’t ever be blamed for such,” Grothe wrote.
Asked to comment for this story, Grothe said he stood by his online remarks.
Those remarks continue, “I do not deny that there is a problem with sexism at atheist or skeptics conferences, nor any of the accounts blogged about in general terms by women who have attended TAM or similar kinds of events, but I would appreciate if such reports were balanced with an acknowledgment of the great effort the JREF goes to ensuring that TAM is a safe and welcoming environment for women.”
This year, TAM has hired an outside consultant to deal with harassment incidents.
And TAM is notable among nontheist conferences in that roughly half of its speakers are women, including keynote speaker Carol Tavris, a social psychologist. Many skeptic women say they have no plans to abandon the conference or the broader nontheist community.
“We may not be able to ever completely solve misogyny online but we can absolutely do a better job ensuring that our physical events are welcoming and safe spaces for women and minorities than we have been,” said Amy Davis Roth, a longtime skeptic who has helped raise almost $8,000 for grants to send 22 women to this year’s TAM.
“Anti-harassment polices are a good start because it sends the message that event organizers want everyone to feel safe and that harassment will not be tolerated by our community,” she said.
I agree. “Anti-harassment polices are a good start." The only way to combat lawlessness is by Law. The only way to combat Godlessness is by God. The only way to act civilized is to believe in a Moral code of conduct. Sorry you can not see this. Well, I guess you are starting to.

Child Abusing Priest Now Legally Molests Kids

YCMTSU Returns. That would be: You Can't Make This Stuff Up.

Hey folks,

So you molest kids. You get caught. You get removed from the Priesthood. What do you do now? Oh, you go get a job with the TSA. Now you can legally molest kids. Are you kidding me?

I use to travel a bit for my job. I have gone through many Airports, including Philly. I do not travel as much now. This is most likely a good thing. I have a serious problem with the authority that the TSA has been given to invade people's personally property, and even one's own person. It truly is legal molestation.

So you are in charge of the TSA, that can, at will, molest anyone they want. You get an application by an ex-priest, that was removed from his job because he molested two young girls, and you hire him? Not only do you hire him, you make him a supervisor?
(CBS) PHILADELPHIA - A Catholic priest who was removed from the ministry over sex abuse allegations now holds a sensitive security post at Philadelphia International Airport, CBS Philly reports.

Until 2002, Thomas Harkins was a Catholic priest working at churches across southern New Jersey, the station reports. But the Diocese of Camden removed him from ministry because it found he sexually abused two young girls. Now, in a new lawsuit, a third CBS woman is claiming she is also one of Harkins' victims.
CBS Philly reports that this week it observed Harkin working as a TSA checkpoint supervisor between airport terminals D and E, where thousands of people - including lots of kids - pass through every day.
Are you kidding me?
The new lawsuit, filed in federal court against the Camden Diocese, accuses Harkins of sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl 10 to 15 times in 1980 and 1981, the station reported. Filed on behalf of the alleged victim, the suit alleges the abuse occurred while Harkins was a priest at Saint Anthony of Padua parish in Hammonton, N.J., with one alleged assaults occurring in Harkins' bedroom at the rectory.
"They should know who they're hiring," said Karen Polesir, a spokeswoman with the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP). She believes Harkins' TSA job is inappropriate.
"As the public, we are screened to our underwear getting on a plane, and yet they hire a man like that," she told the station.

A TSA official told CBS Philly Harkins' title is "Transportation Security Manager, Baggage," meaning he deals mostly with luggage, not passengers.
Mostly? What does that mean. Mostly? That means he also deals with passengers. Especially if he is the supervisor.
"Sure, that's his title," Polesir said. "That doesn't mean that's where he stays, that doesn't mean he doesn't fill other roles when necessary."
The TSA says all its employees go through a criminal background check before they're hired, but because the allegations are so old, criminal charges were not filed. A spokesman said the Camden Diocese settled the first two lawsuits with Harkins' accusers, and that it had not yet seen the latest lawsuit.
Harkins was asked about the newest filing as he was leaving his shift at the airport."I have nothing to say," was Harkins' reply.
Asked if the traveling public should be worried, Harkin responded, "No, they shouldn't be."
"The public should not be worried with you in a position like this despite your past?" reporter Ben Simmoneau asked.
"I have nothing to say," Harkins repeated.

He then used his TSA badge to walk into a restricted area where CBS Philly cameras could not follow.
What's next? Child molesters as day care workers? Like I said, you can't make this stuff up.

DLA For Sunday 052712

Welcome to America. Now if you really love this country, assimilate.

Hey folks,

Do not eat meat on Fridays. Do not eat meat period. Do not watch TV. Do not listen to this type of music. Do not listen to any music. Do not do anything that could be considered work on the Sabbath Day. That includes anything electronic. Do not wear makeup. Pray three times a day facing east. Do not take the Lord's name in vain. All these things, and much much more, are religious laws. They are religious rules and observations that the faithful, within whatever religion, are commanded to observe.

If you, being nonreligious, decide you do not care about the Sabbath, or you decide you like meat, or you do not care about swearing, you do not have to follow these ordinances of faith. If you are religious, you have a right in this country TO observe these ordinances.

Now, go to China. Go to Cuba. Go to England. Wherever. Tell them that you do not agree with their law on this or that. Demand that they change their laws to suit you. See what happens to you. Do you think they will just bow down to you, and change who they are, just for you?

The simple answer is no. As a matter of fact, you may be asked to leave. If you are lucky. In some cases, if you do not get killed, you may get locked up in jail for years. Why do you think so many people risk their very lives to come here? Freedom.

So there is a move in this country, by some in the Islamic Religion, that want to bring Sharia Law to America. Others feel that if someone is arrested, they should be tried under the laws of their given religion. Or in a divorce or other civil matters, the court needs to observe religious laws and commandments when attempting to decide the case. In other words. If Muslim Males beheads their Wives, it should be OK, because it's in their religion.

I guess that would mean that Rastafarians have a right to smoke all the Ganja they want. Anyone can do whatever they want as long as they are following their religious ordinances. Forget the fact that this may be against American law. It may supersede someone else's rights. Like the right to life.

So our Winner of the Display of Logic Award, stood up, and did the right thing.
Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback has signed a law aimed at keeping the state's courts or government agencies from basing decisions on Islamic or other foreign legal codes, and a national Muslim group's spokesman said Friday that a court challenge is likely.
The new law, taking effect July 1, doesn't specifically mention Shariah law, which broadly refers to codes within the Islamic legal system. Instead, it says courts, administrative agencies or state tribunals can't base rulings on any foreign law or legal system that would not grant the parties the same rights guaranteed by state and U.S. constitutions.
"This bill should provide protection for Kansas citizens from the application of foreign laws," said Stephen Gele, spokesman for the American Public Policy Alliance, a Michigan group promoting model legislation similar to the new Kansas law. "The bill does not read, in any way, to be discriminatory against any religion."
Nope. What it does, is says that Courts have to try cases based on US law. Imagine that. You live in America. You need to follow American laws. Really?
Brownback's office notified the state Senate of his decision Friday, but he actually signed the measure Monday. The governor's spokeswoman, Sherriene Jones-Sontag, said in a statement that the bill "makes it clear that Kansas courts will rely exclusively on the laws of our state and our nation when deciding cases and will not consider the laws of foreign jurisdictions."
Why would you? Seriously. Why would an American Court observe foreign law? Now the PEOPLE of the State of Oklahoma already spoke on this..
Oklahoma voters approved a ballot initiative in 2010 that specifically mentioned Shariah law, but both a federal judge and a federal appeals court blocked it.
Of course they did. Liberals do not care about the People. They do not care about America. Or American law. They care about agendas and votes. They care about themselves and what they think is the right way to view anything. They are always right, and the smartest people in the room, in their minds, and you will do whatever they tell you to. If not, they will simply ignore you. In some cases, create laws, to force you to see things their way.

I have no idea why this was even an issue. Congratulation Gov. Sam Brownback, for doing the obvious and right thing here, spelling out to the courts, that they have to follow US Law, {Sigh} You ARE the Winner of the Display of Logic Award for today, Sunday, May 27th 2012. Now can we maybe pass a law that says the President and his Administration need to follow the US Constitution? They obviously do not think so.

Born Again Bad For Metal Health/ Preview

Preview for Sunday 052012

Hey folks,

Happy Sunday to. Welcome to the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk2 Blog. I am of course your Provocateur of Thought himself, Peter Carlock. Glad you stopped by. Don't forget, if you want to be part of the OPNtalk2 Blog, you too can send in articles, comments, complaints, or even if you just want to say "Hi," the Email is opntalk@gmail.com.

We have a lot to cover today. Including something that is not being reported anywhere. The US House approved Obama to use force against Iran. Yes. You read that correctly. More on that in just a few minutes.  Also, did you know that if you consider yourself "Born Again" you really will grow stupid. {Laughing} I kid you not. That is a new study out there. We'll get into that in a second.

Coming right up?

US Approves Force Against Iran

Obama Backed LightSquared Files Bankruptcy

OK, so if you are "Born Again" AKA Christian, you will become stupid. Those that have no faith? Well, you will become stupid as well. I guess. {Laughing} I know. But this is just too funny to me.

According to Health Day..
WEDNESDAY, May 25 (HealthDay News) -- Older adults who say they've had a life-changing religious experience are more likely to have a greater decrease in size of the hippocampus, the part of the brain critical to learning and memory, new research finds.
According to the study, people who said they were a "born-again" Protestant or Catholic, or conversely, those who had no religious affiliation, had more hippocampal shrinkage (or "atrophy") compared to people who identified themselves as Protestants, but not born-again.
So I'm not entirely sure here, but the only people that get or stay smart are, what Protestants?
As people age, a certain amount of brain atrophy is expected. Shrinkage of the hippocampus is also associated with depression, dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
In the study, researchers asked 268 people aged 58 to 84 about their religious affiliation, spiritual practices and life-changing religious experiences. Over the course of two to eight years, changes to the hippocampus were monitored using MRI scans.
The researchers suggested that stress over holding religious beliefs that fall outside of the mainstream may help explain the findings.
"One interpretation of our finding -- that members of majority religious groups seem to have less atrophy compared with minority religious groups -- is that when you feel your beliefs and values are somewhat at odds with those of society as a whole, it may contribute to long-term stress that could have implications for the brain," Amy Owen, lead author of the study and a research associate at Duke University Medical Center, said in a Duke news release.
So are you following this? Did he not just say, that as long as you are good little drones, go out there and just accept what you are told, do whatever you are told, you will be fine? But if you think outside of what the majority think, you know, be an independent thinker, you will become stupid in the long run? So I guess what he is saying here is just know your role and do whatever you are told.
The study authors also suggested that life-changing religious experiences could challenge a person's established religious beliefs, triggering stress.
"Other studies have led us to think that whether a new experience you consider spiritual is interpreted as comforting or stressful may depend on whether or not it fits in with your existing religious beliefs and those of the people around you," David Hayward, research associate at Duke University Medical Center, added. "Especially for older adults, these unexpected new experiences may lead to doubts about long-held religious beliefs, or to disagreements with friends and family."
The researchers noted other factors related to hippocampal atrophy, such as age, depression or brain size, as well as other religious factors such as prayer or meditation, could not explain the study's findings.
So there you have it folks. It has been scientifically proven. You "Born Again" Christians really are stupid hicks that cling to your Bible and guns whenever you feel uncomfortable,,,oh wait, that was our President calling you stupid. But I guess according to this, those who do not believe in anything are effected as well, as long as they do not go with whatever the majority says.

So just be good little drones out there. You will live long and be smarter for it.

Be right back
Peter

IWA for Sunday 050612

I love when someone that knows nothing about the Bible tries to teach it.

Hey folks,

Does the Bible promote slavery? No. Does the Bible still tell us to kill people for adultery? No. Does the Bible forbid you from eating this or that? No. I love when someone that knows nothing about the Bible tries to teach it. Lets look at some of this.

The Bible, in the old testament does warn you about what to eat and what not to eat. It does tell you that if you eat certain things, you can get sick. It tells you that you should abstain from certain foods. What is good to eat, and what is an abomination to the body. It is bad for the body. it should be avoided. So I guess every  healthy eating book out there is wrong and should be ignored. Right?

In the old testament, the Bible does talk about the laws of man. The laws of God are these...
1And God spake all these words, saying,
2I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13Thou shalt not kill.
14Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15Thou shalt not steal.
16Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
So the very first one is what? I am the Lord you God that brought you out of bondage. He freed the slaves. So does the Bible teach slavery is good? No of course not. What do you think Exodus was all about? Any where you see slavery talked about in the Bible, it is talking about the time. Paul was talking about receiving people as Brothers and not slaves. Not to mention Jesus set us all free. So I guess any history book that talks about slavery in America is promoting slavery?

So for people who actually understand the Bible, we know that it is NOT a big book of don'ts. That it is a blueprint for how to live a peaceful, healthy and happy life. It is a key to Salvation, and will in essence, make your life easier if you follow what it says. Every answer you need, is, in the Bible. Misinterpretations and false interpretations can be misleading, and in some cases, are meant to be. But that doesn't mean that they are right.

So then you have our Idiot of the week. Here is a guy that is suppose to be talking about anti-bullying. He is talking to a bunch of young people about bullying. Then he starts bullying those he is talking to....

So Dan Savage thinks it's OK to call people that are offended by his attack on the Bible pansies. He feels it's OK to call someone's belief "Bullshit?" Just because he does not agree with it? What if one of those kids that got up and walked out on him were to say "You say you were born that way? Well I say 'Bullshit.'" Yup. They would be called Homophobic. Hateful. Any discriminatory name they could think of. But it's OK for this Moron to call the Bible Bullshit, and those that got offended pansies. The sad thing? He actually thinks he knows what he is talking about. He actually believes he is smarter than anyone else.

Congratulations Dan the man. You are without a doubt, the Idiot of the Week. I do not condemn you for your lifestyle. There are many things I have none in my life that would keep me from Heaven. What you do is between you and God. But if you are going to attack me? For my beliefs? Call me names? Well, I do have a right to defend myself. Right?

First Contraceptives, Then This

"Bad bad Christians, they want to adhere to 2000 plus years of traditions and teachings, bad bad bad! Who do they think they are? A majority of people in North America? Silly Christians.  Perverts and sharia is what's happening."

Hey folks,

Happy Friday to ya. Since it is Friday, time to check the Emails. You too can be part of the OPNTalk2 Blog by sending in articles, comments, complaints, or even if you just want to say "Hi", the Email is as always opntalk@gmail.com.

Today is a perfect example of why so many are fighting against the Obama administration's attack on the Catholic Church. His "dictate" that Catholic, and any religious organizations, have to now offer free contraceptives and Insurance that also allows women to get the Morning After Pill and Abortion is COMPLETELY Unconstitutional. It is COMPLETELY against the First Amendment. Religion can not be dictated to by the government, what it can and can not do.

Many people will simply dismiss this "dictate" by the President and simply refuse to comply, because they do not have to. No one cares what Obama "dictates." he does not have that authority. We are a free people in a free country.

But so many uneducated, and ignorant folks out there, want to know what the big deal is. They simply do not get it. What's the big deal? The big deal is once you allow this, what is the government going to "dictate" religious organizations do next? Here is a perfect example...
Glen Murray, the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities in the Ontario, Canada government has told Catholic schools that they are no longer allowed to teach biblical principles against homosexuality.  Additionally, he told them that they must allow gay clubs to organize at all Catholic schools.
Speaking publicly on the his anti-bullying bill, Murray said,
“I have to say to the bishops: ‘You’re not allowed to do that anymore.’  I’m not allowed to say to the Catholics—nor should I—or to other Christians or Muslims or Jews, that because of your faith you’re intrinsically disordered.”
“I would never say to you that anything that goes on in your family with the person you love—can you imagine me describing a husband-and-wife relationship as inherently depraved?”
“… There’s no one here that’s suggesting that we shouldn’t teach a Catholic perspective in our schools.”
“It is about celebrating diversity. It isn’t about taking Catholic teaching out of Catholic schools.  It’s about putting life-affirming, positive images and stories around gay and lesbian children, Muslim children, kids and women of all shapes.”
So this guy, who of course is gay, wants the Catholic Church to stop teaching Biblical principles. Just stop teaching the Bible. He wants them to allow and to teach "life-affirming, positive images and stories around gay and lesbian children, Muslim children, kids and women of all shapes.” Really? He sees nothing wrong with this? I got news for him. There are NO Muslim children in the Catholic Church. If you do not believe what the Catholic Church teaches, do not go there. He simply wants to force his lifestyle on everyone. It really is that simple.

Would it surprise you to learn that Glen Murray is a homosexual and has long fought for gay rights in Ontario and all of Canada.  He is using his position as a cabinet minister to push his personal homosexual philosophy onto the people of Quebec.  Murray has no respect for anyone else’s religious beliefs if they are different from his and now he is trying to force all Catholic schools to act in direct violation of their religious views.
The crux of Murray’s Accepting Schools Act or SB 13 is more about promoting homosexual rights rather than the anti-bullying measures he claims.  The bill is also supposed to stop any anti-hate language which Murray defines as any speech that condemns his perverse gay lifestyle.  Incorporated into the anti-measure of Bill 13 is a provision that requires, yes, REQUIRES all publicly funded schools including Catholic schools to form clubs for gays and straights in the hope that it would help make homosexuality better accepted among straight students.
Suresh Dominic of Campaign Life Catholics reacted to Murray’s announcement by saying that his actions amount to a declaration of war against the Catholic Church and all they believe in.  He also added,
"We’ve been saying all along that McGuinty wants to dictate what the Church can teach in its schools and here it is straight from the government’s mouth.”
Dominic and other Catholic leaders in Ontario are mounting a defensive move and calling for all Catholics and Protestants to fight against Murray and his gay rights bill.  Their calls have been heard as over 2,000 people gathered at Queen’s Park last Thursday in a unified effort to defeat passage of Bill 13.
Even though this is all taking place on the other side of our northern border, similar actions are not out of the question from our own national government, especially when you consider the contraception mandate which is still being fought against by Christian schools and organizations across the nation.
Yup. Once you allow the government to open the door and start dictating to you what you can and can't do, they will not stop. This is why it is so important for those that believe in the Constitution, to continue to fight this administration every time they attempt to overstep their authority.

Look, it really is simple. If you do not agree with what a religious organization is teaching, do not go there. Just like anything else. I do not like, nor agree with, the New Black Panthers. I'm not going to join the group and then tell them that they have to change because I'm there. I'm not going to join the Muslim Brotherhood and tell them that they can no longer pray to Allah, because that offends me. I'm not going to join a Liberal Group and demand that they actually educate themselves. I am simply not going to join.

If Murray, or Obama, or me, or anyone, do not agree with the teachings of the Catholic Church, then we simply need to stay out of it. But we do not have the right to tell them they can not be who they are, because we do not agree. That is insane. It is also against US Law.
