IWA for Sunday 082612 AND DLA For Sunday 082612

This is hard to believe. The MMD doing their JOBS?

Hey folks,

I can't believe it. This really is funnier than hell. Everyone was talking about this on Friday. Why? Because the Mainstream Media Drones, the MMD, actually did their job, and called out one of Obama's surrogates for lying. To top it off, it was CNN. Anderson Cooper to boot.

This was just too funny to listen to. It really was.

Politico - CNN’s Anderson Cooper takes on Debbie Wasserman Schultz

The conversation was a lot longer than this..Here is the Transcript.
CHULTZ: Anderson, we definitely can say it because even in the previous platform... Mitt Romney has embraced previous Republican Party platforms and embraced that language and said he'd be delighted to support a constitutional amendment banning all abortion.

COOPER: You have to acknowledge he has, for years, publicly said that he supports abortion in the case of rape, incest, and where the life of the mother is at stake.

SCHULTZ: I can certainly acknowledge that he says that out loud. And I think it's very clear that Mitt Romney talks the talk; certainly doesn't walk the walk.

COOPER: Do you at least acknowledge that --

SCHULTZ: And people should know that.

COOPER: -- the quote you gave from the LA Times is completely incorrect?

SCHULTZ: No, I don't acknowledge that. I know that's what you're what saying, but (stammering) what I acknowledge --

COOPER: Well, I can read it to you right now 'cause --

SCHULTZ: -- is that --

COOPER: -- what you said is, "Guess what...?"

SCHULTZ: Anderson, what I'm saying is: It doesn't matter.
COOPER: I think what you say does matter. You're quoting the LA Times. And, again, you've misquoted them to back up a position.

SCHULTZ: Anderson? Anderson? The point of the e-mail -- and there's no getting around that, and I would think you would agree -- that there's no way that a presidential candidate, a party's nominee, can separate themself (sic) from that party's platform.

COOPER: He has.

SCHULTZ: There is no exception --

COOPER: I mean, he has.

SCHULTZ: -- for rape or incest --

COOPER: He has.

SCHULTZ: -- in the Human Life Amendment.

COOPER: I do think accuracy is important, and my job is to point out things that are not factually correct. What you said --

SCHULTZ: Accuracy is important.

COOPER: You said, "Guess what? The Los Angeles Times reported yesterday that the platform was, and I quote, 'written at the direction of Romney's campaign.'" That sounds very direct. But that's not actually what the LA Times --

SCHULTZ: Anderson?

COOPER: -- was saying.

SCHULTZ: The bottom-line message of our e-mail is that, A: Women need to know the difference between the two parties and the two presidential candidates on a woman's right to make her own reproductive choices. And that Mitt Romney can say that he's for an exception for rape or incest; his party platform doesn't reflect that.

COOPER: It's my job, on both sides of the aisle, to point out things that are inaccurate.

SCHULTZ: Right.

COOPER: In a fundraising e-mail, to misquote something to serve your argument, just doesn't seem -- in the long term -- to serve your argument very well. But --

SCHULTZ: I understand your point, but I think we... I -- I -- I -- I mean, the balance of the e-mail makes the case very clearly. And the main thrust of the information we're trying to convey is that Mitt Romney is disingenuous when it comes to his position on a woman's right to make her own reproductive choices. And he's extreme! And has embraced an extreme position! And we want women to know that.

Folks, Anderson Cooper caught our Idiot winner in an outright lie. Her response? "It doesn't matter.." {Laughing} He goes on to tell her it DOES matter that she is outright lying, even reads it to her. Then he actually tells the truth, "It's my job, on both sides of the aisle, to point out things that are inaccurate." ABSOLUTELY!!!! I wish all the Media went back to doing this. Maybe their ratings would pick up.

However, nothing was getting through to her. "You said, "Guess what? The Los Angeles Times reported yesterday that the platform was, and I quote, 'written at the direction of Romney's campaign.'" That sounds very direct. But that's not actually what the LA Times --"

It wasn't. It has been the same as it has been for Decades. Her response was very condescending. She kept going "Anderson. Anderson, Anderson." {Laughing, banging hand on desk} She is like, "Anderson, what are you doing. You are not to call us out on lies. You are to further the agenda, and get Obama re-elected. What is wrong with you. Don't you know who I am." {Laughing}

But he is right. Romney has come out, and has for years, saying he is FOR abortion in the case of the Mother's health, Rape, and incest. She said. "Mitt Romney can say that he's for an exception for rape or incest; his party platform doesn't reflect that." But he already, and has for years, said he was for the exception. She is saying, "so what. He is not. That's it. Who cares that I lied? Who cares what he said. He is coming to take away women's "rights.""

It wraps up with this..

{Laughing.} Welcome to reality Anderson. THIS is what it's like to deal with Liberals. She is lying. She doesn't care. She thinks that Obama's base are nothing more than a bunch of morons that will not even think about checking out what she is saying, and the sad thing, she's right She will stay on script no matter what.
"And the main thrust of the information we're trying to convey is that Mitt Romney is disingenuous when it comes to his position on a woman's right to make her own reproductive choices. And he's extreme! And has embraced an extreme position! And we want women to know that."
None of which is even remotely true. {Laughing} Good job Anderson. For actually doing your job, you receive the Display of Logic Award, for today, Sunday, August 26, 2012. Congratulations Schultz, for letting Anderson Cooper making you look like the fool you are, you get the Idiot of the Week Award.

I'm serious. If more of the MMD would actually do their Jobs, they would not be in the tank in ratings. Look at what this one exchange did for CNN.
