The Reality Of Socialism's End Result

Sorry, I'll take Freedom.

Hey folks,

You want to know about the reality of Socialism? Look around. Look at California. California is one of the most "liberal" run States in history. It is a leader in all kinds of Socialistic Dream programs. From their environmental restrictions, to their liberal union forced compensations, to all kinds of freebie services, that forced the raising of taxes, to even their ignorance in dealing with Illegal Immigration, they are finding themselves, out of money. They are finding that you just can not tax people enough, to dream the dream.
Facing the same financial stressors that pushed San Bernardino toward bankruptcy, cities across California are slashing day-to-day services and taking other drastic actions to skirt a similar fiscal collapse.
For some, it may not be enough.
San Bernardino on Tuesday became the third California city to seek bankruptcy protection in the last month and, while no one expects the state to be consumed by municipal insolvencies, other cities teeter on the abyss.
"There are likely to be more in the future, but it's hard to know, since a lot of struggling cities may manage to work things out,'' said Michael Coleman, a fiscal policy advisor for the California League of Cities. "Some cities may not go into a bankruptcy, but they may dissolve. They may cease to exist.''
California is not alone. Look at ANY Liberal run city across the country. Look at Chicago. Look at New York. Look at the turn about in places like New Jersey. Look at the more Conservative run States and see the clear difference in their economies. Look at Scranton, Pennsylvania,
On June 27, Mr. Doherty announced he would unilaterally slash pay to minimum wages indefinitely, starting with July 6 paychecks. On July 2, the unions sued to prevent the pay cuts, and on Thursday and Friday, Judge Barrasse issued injunctions ordering full wages, despite administration testimony that the city is broke. The mayor has said the city simply does not have the money to make full payrolls of $1 million every two weeks and pay mounting unpaid bills, particularly health care insurance.
So the Cop that pulls you over for speeding, is making $7.50 an hour. The Firefighter putting that fire out in your home? Same. Why? What is the City going to pay the people with? They even talked about increasing taxes over 78 percent. People started to and will continue to, leave. No one is going to willingly stay and work in slave labor. No one is going to work, to have nearly 80 percent of their salary taken, or businesses have most of their profits confiscated. Why would they? If you ask a Liberal, they will tell you, and they mean it, for the betterment of all.

Look at New York. Obscene taxation funds all kinds of social programs and then on top of that, they tell you what you can and can't eat, drink, and oppressively tax behaviors they do not like. They do not want you to drive. They do not want you to live the way you want. They want you herded into these tiny little spaces, and transported around to work, be obedient, and be good little citizens. You want to know a Liberal Dream they have for most "people." Check this out. This couple pays $1500.00 a month to live in a closet in New York. I kid you not.
They moved to Brooklyn in June 2011, and their main living space -- which includes their kitchen, dining table, and living room -- is a mere 140 square feet. The $1,500-a-month studio also has tiny bathroom off to one side, a 4-square-foot closet in the hallway, and a sleeping loft built over the kitchen; a curtained-off closet is tucked beneath the steep staircase to the 10-by-6-and-a-half-foot loft, which is barely big enough for a double bed and a single dresser and impossible to stand upright in.
You have to watch the Video. They are trying really hard to make this a new hip thing. Stylish. Cool. Live in a closet. That is Socialism folks. I grew up in small town America. In a three story home. The first floor, was a kitchen, walk in underground food pantry, and a bathroom. In the center of the kitchen was a table that easily sat over ten people. We sat there every Sunday for dinner. Us and whomever may stop by. My Grandmother always had a garden with fresh veggies and made everything from scratch. I would go down to the little store and buy a candy and a soda for under a dollar. I had no concern about not making it home.

Liberalism? We do not like this. First, we do not care if it's legal or not, we do not like this product. Smoking is bad for you. So you can still smoke, but you will pay $2.00 for the product, and lets see, $6.00 in tax to us. We will use that for healthcare for those people less fortunate than you. Where's the money? Oh, we ran out, so now we decided that Twinkies and Soda are bad for you so, you can still buy them, but you will have to pay us double in tax. Where's the money? Oh we ran out so now if you want, you will have to buy two 16 oz. Sodas, to make up for the one 32 oz soda you use to buy, while paying us tax on both.

And while you are at it, there are just way too many of you unwashed masses out there making too much money, and keeping it. You should not have to make that much? We need more of what you make to make it fair. It's not fair that you make what you do, and someone else has to worry about bills. So we are going to start taking more of your's, for the betterment of all.

Oh and since there just are way too many of you, don't you care about the environment? Don't you care that you are just killing the planet. Running around the country all willy nilly. You want a car? Make it a small one. And then you can pay us for that privilege. But you folks that live in cities? Why bother? OK, OK. Even though we have transportation set up for you, you still want the freedom of a car? OK. You will have to pay us to drive it. Park it. And pretty much whatever you want to do with it.

Also, those of you living in cities? You are just taken up way too much space. Live smaller. Look at these people. They live in a 240 Ft apartment. What else do you really need? They are cool. They are not taking up too much space. They commute to work. What is wrong with you? You want to sit up in bed? You'll get use to it.

OH by the way. Sorry. I know we said that we would take care of you. But uh, we do not have any more money. So sorry. Your kinda on your own now. All the rich people took their money and left. We simply can't afford all these freebies anymore. Don't be mad at us. Be mad at those evil, greedy Rich folks that will not give you their money. But we will talk more about that when we get back from Vacation in the Hamptons. Hang tough out there. We hear ya. But it's not our fault.

Sorry folks. I'll take freedom over liberalism. I'll pay a fare share of taxes, to fund necessary Government programs, Military, Police, Fire and certain programs to help those truly less fortunate or truly in need. Other than that? Get outta the way. Leave me alone. Stop hindering FREEDOM. Stop interfering in people's personal and professional lives, and let America be great. It did just fine without you. It can again. Liberalism? FAILS every time it is tried, anywhere in the world. We do not need it here, nor do we want it here. We have seen first hand how it fails. Time to try something else. It's call the American Dream.

Don't forget folks, debut of the New Faith Based Blog, TAG, tomorrow. See you then.
Peter
